Minimalism is definitely a tool that can help in many areas of life. It has helped me in many areas of mine like for example feeling more free and confident. I am glad to hear that it has helped you so much as well. You are a beautiful human 💕
Love to hear it! It definitely can evoke a sense for freedom and contentment too. And you are so sweet...we are on this journey together! That's for sure!
You have spoken many truths! I won't ever judge someone who spends on trivial things, because that was me at one point in my life. I was in my late 20s independent, young, and gorgeous, and I wanted to be fabulous like TV shows made me believe I should aspire to. I would spend my money on bags, shoes, expensive salon treatments, etc. At that moment I lived on a different continent, away from friends and family, and it took me a while to realize that nothing would fill the void I felt. Fortunately, I grew as a person personally and professionally, had a great job, a fantastic husband, and found fulfillment in my life, not my stuff. When we moved to a different country, I realized I had accumulated stuff that didn't truly have any meaning in my life. Now I am much more conscious of how I spend my money.
I have totally been there before too. I relate a lot to your story! I too would never judge someone for being at a different stage in their journey. Inspiration might help but judgement certainly doesn't! I love your perspective on things and hope you keep up the conscious spending :)
Thank you for your video. I’m definitely going to be watching more of your videos. I’m dealing with some health and mental issues right now. I draw disability and was working part-time for extra income and to get out of my house. But, being off work has made me more anxious and depressed. I have female issues that make me have alot of pain. I keep my home neat and tidy. But, after that I just lay around because I’m in pain. I have to a doctor’s appointment but it is over two weeks away. I’m debating now whether to go back to my job when I get my health issues resolved. My work is a 25mile drive. I was only working for two days. I’m very seriously considering finding work here in my town when I get my health better. Again thank you for your video and your channel. Being a minimalist myself I appreciate hearing other people’s perspectives. I will definitely be weighing the pros and cons. God bless. 🙏🏻❤️
I’m 45 now so I know it’s never too late but I’m kind of older now…. My teaching career for the last 20 years has drained my life so I would love to retire early and maybe do something else. Thanks for sharing
