The "Bluetooth" mover is a thing that modders discovered RECENTLY by exploiting the mover mechanism where the game thinks the normal auto-movers and Egypy auto-movers are the same. They do not follow the normal convention of mover mechanism and so you're right they do give more confusion than gameplay layout optimization...

Let's just hope the 9th anniversary level will go back to the old style of route design, the recent levels have taken a weird new style that I can't really tell whether l like it or not, but I hope it doesn't affect the 9th anniversary. I miss the old rolling sky

cant wait for the crown route where you have to activate the most obscure mover plate at the start of the level to get it it would be a good idea if there was some sort of indication, like some sort of particle effect or a new block, as long as it isnt completely bs
Mini Max seems very lazy in putting engines with good foundations, not just working on putting existing glitches in the game and promoting it as a new technology or something like that. If they make the Bluetooth engine a special color for it that makes you recognize it, it would be a good solution. The automatic engine movement that is present in Rolling Sky Remake is great. If they put it in a game that would be visually good in shape.
I really hate bluetooth movers so much I might jump onto oncoming traffic when I see one of those. But a Frankensteined abomination COMBINED with a bluetooth mover mechanic is just... no. Whoever routed Emerald City was on something (in a bad way).
I can agree to some extent with this, but it basically only adds up to already chaotic level routes in RS Levels. I mean sure, it is pretty confusing when it happens, but game is already pretty far away from being a "reaction platformer", where the only way to complete a level - you have to play it and learn every small thing that happens on it (which tile moves where, where teleporter is going to send me), so the fact that another mechanic got more confusing, doesn't really surprise me, since the entire game is already based on so many confusing mechanics (Looking at you, Lab and anniversary levels).
They are basically hidden Egypt engines and you activate them using the green pyramid button but when you put them together the manual engine works like bluetooth but it is very stupid
while we're here let me also bring up the sterile auto mover in falling blossoms at about 58% (the one that pointed left) cuz why did it not move when touched diagonally like
Sometimes Bluetooth movers are good in way to make the player understand what is going to be activated but That guy who routed emerald city 😂😂 Fucked the hole route
i feel like this is kinda impossible to avoid since there are hundreds of levels in RS and eventually they could run out of ideas for mover but i guess
players: *complaining that the levels are too easy* minimax: *adds something to make levels harder and more fun* players: “i hate minimax 😡” “stop ruining the game minimax 😭 “ and yall dont even take the levels for granted (like they literally just released like 5 levels INCLUDING remaking ignite in 2 weeks last time i checked) yall completely forgot that minimax is why rs is still getting updates

Also relating to movers, am I the only who doesn't like it when one of the obstacles/tricks of a level is to pick the route with the regular mover tile and not the auto mover tile? It feels like a cheap way to increase the difficulty to me.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Emerald City sucks anus! I was excited for the original Wizard of Oz because of the song, I was hoping it would be good! And it wasn’t! The routes are horrible and the absence of crowns is honestly baffling! I can’t lay my finger on it but something about it just lacks a good challenge! And don’t even get me started with that one part where you come across two trees in different arrays twice on moving tiles! Goodness that part is horrible! It also has another one of those “follow this one path” parts where you just can’t deviate from anything! This is now trending too! The same thing happened in Battle Bastion, and it’s drawn out for like over 30%! I also really don’t like Battle Bastion! Also another goof I found in Wizard of Oz. WHAT the ACTUAL frick is with the AUTO SWAP? It happens at the 61% part! TWICE! It shows us that one mechanic from Steam Era used a few times, but then in this part, THEY SWAP BY THEMSELVES?! No contact whatsoever? This pisses me off so much! No logic to be found here! Rezi Ger said it best, it was a PAINFUL adventure! As for this one! I haven’t played all of Emerald City but just looking at this route, I’m like,…What the heck is this? What kind of stupid route is that? What is with the “oh any mover can activate any auto mover without physical contact” schtick? Another weird decision made with this level too, like why is this 5 stars? Couldn’t they just make it a straightforward two star instead of making it a complicated mess of route design for the identical difficulty? This one’s going to be painful to beat isn’t it? Also, they ditched the crowns again! Again why? Are they trying to appeal to nostalgia or something? Can’t wrap my head around it! I wonder what you think of Wizard of Oz! Anyways, it’s really good that you’re trying to raise awareness to this problem that’s occurring within other levels! Really good video dude, I must say you’re pretty smart with this Rolling Sky stuff! 😉 Edit: So I finally perfected the level and… yeah, this is awful! Seriously, why did they make this a 5 star? The gem routes are pretty terrible! 53% and the last gem route in particular are pure rubbish, and same with that mover combination thing, but I’ve already gone into detail about that! Throws all logic out the window! Oh yeah, remember that auto swap that bothered me so much? Well guess what, THEY DID IT AGAIN! The same number of times since previously! No crowns here too, but that’s the least of its problems! It doesn’t even have a fitting song! This song sounds like you’re being chased by someone! Not at all like Wizard of Oz! Just an absolute abomination altogether, worse than the original!
I hate it when people overreact to Minimax not adding crowns. Crowns aren’t always the best thing to have in levels, but I agree that this level isn’t really good at all, yet the music slaps.
At least the absence of crowns isn’t permanent, that level doesn’t have any and the co level released with it does! I just kinda feel as if no crowns feel random when it comes to anything above 1 star levels! 1 star levels without crowns I’m used to, not so much with anything above that! But fair point, crown routes can also be pretty poorly executed sometimes, as well as gem routes!
What about Alone II's non-existing arrow [I can't find it, but I know I found it before. It's an arrow tile, but without an arrow]. In Forest(new) [25%], Forest(old) [0:27] & Alone II [0:46; 2:38; 3:19; 3:20] & The Eye of Horus [70%]. there are some arrows moving into a tile. In a lot of themes you can't see the edges of an arrow tile, it for example akes Forest(new)'s second to last gem harder. Also we have the arrow in The Eye of Horus that is after a piramid neon box that spawns the arrowed half of an arrow - the problem with that is half of the arrow is there, but unnoticeble due to the theme [70%]. Make a pt.II with these. I wanna hear you yelling to the viewers about these trash routes. :D
The Emerald City route is boring, the songs don't fit with the main level or theme, I didn't ask for this weird song level that I didn't expect, and the worst thing about it is that it's 5 stars. Moreover, I don't understand the reason for creating a strange mechanism for Mover.😡
Ehhh... Imo some 2024 levels like Brazil Carnival, Samba, Eternity, Phantom Thief, Foggy City, Enchanted Lamp, Kingdom War, Westland and Desolate Area are better than 2023 levels
I wouldn’t say the levels Minimax pump out are getting worse per se, it’s more of a mix in between they’re going to make good routes and they’re going to make bad routes, it more so just flip-flops in between!
