On this stop of the 2023 BuildWitt Roadshow, we visited W.D. Scepaniak to see their mobile aggregate plants. Plants like these supply the crushed rock needed for roads, buildings, and landscaping.
This plant is "mobile," meaning every piece of equipment can be quickly loaded and transported wherever it needs to go. The flexibility means they can mobilize for only weeks or months to specific locations not needing permanent crushing operations.
Despite their compact nature, plants like these can produce 5,000+ tons per day. The closer they can get the plant to the material, the more efficient it all is!

Fantastic, I've never seen such a sofisticated, neat rock screening process before 👍🏻 Keep up on showing excellent videos, Aaron.

Its easy to do 5000 tons on what is mostly sand, try all rock in the same setup.

At every crushing plant they have a skid steer he says I wish we had one 😂 we put old conveyer belt sections under are tail pullys and sections where stuff builds up and pull the stuff out like that with a chain and a loader

We couldn’t go without ours. We have a home made rake on ours. Alot of our setup is old so they leak Alot of sand. Especially the terex crusher. We put a piece of sheet steel with rollers under it, old conveyor sections to seal the sides, and a chain to pull it out. Problem is if the skid steer ever goes down it’s far too heavy to move by hand. I like seeing how other companies do things. In this case the spoon wouldn’t help us because of the weird angles and tight spaces

Aaron has covered road crushing, excavators, this aggregate process, rollers, crete plants, and haul trucks. What aaron hasn't covered is why it takes 10 years for i--35 to get completed even though you can go to any country in the world any city in the world, and get aggregate delivered, get crete delivered, and get road crushed.
