He played for 16 years tho, meaning he has a lengthy experience and knowledge about the game that only pro ball players have. He received the same training and practice as everyone else. He knows what hes talkin about. I dont even particularly like the guy, I just thought it was dumb to discount what he says just because he was a mid ball player. Its like saying Phil Jackson doesnt know what it takes to be great just because he was a bench player for the Knicks.

@ek9385 It's actually dumb to think that everyone who played the game knows and can articulate the mechanics of the swing. Not everyone who played was actually good at it. I doubt that Phil Jackson can teach the mechanics of the jump shot even though he was an average player and successful coach.

Because a derby it lacks velo, you have to muscle them out. In a game you have high velo coming at you.
