Every point is spot on. I must applaud you for being very proactive with pitching brands and agencies. A lot of creators don’t realize they can do this and end up wasting the first few years, waiting for brands to reach out. I encourage every creator to pitch and also create content to attract the new audience
Thank you so much for this, I think one thing that helped me transition is posting my relocation phase in detail, hence before I travelled I already worked with two brands in the new country.. And that carries your audience along too. It gets better with time, you are so beautiful Yeychi 💙
This resonates so much with my current situation as a beauty artist and skincare therapist. I am so low right now. I can't seem to find my strength to create content that I wouldn't be paid for just to keep my page busy and get potential clients in England. It's a crazy feeling!

I’m so Sorry about the scam agency. Signing to an influencer agency could either be a hit or miss tbh so one just has to be very careful. Some of them even have some crazy rules that end up being a disadvantage to the influencer

Thank you for the video Yeychi. I moved to the Uk in August and combining school plus work plus content creation has been crazy. I got so many emails from agencies but I never signed up for any cos I did one in Nigeria and got nothing out of it. One thing I’ve been struggling with though is not getting paid for the content 😭 how am I supposed to move from earning mainly from content creation in Nigeria to doing free job here😭. Because of this, I’ve refused to pitch to brands cos I’m just mad about the whole thing but after watching your video, I think I’ll just take the step. It’s better I get the free products to create the content than use my money to buy them and then create for free. Thank you once again Yeychi for talking about this. It was really insightful
Nice one and really well executed. As a new content creator pitching Expat Teaching to the world, I am always excited to sit and talk about my experiences because I have done this for over 20 years, my work has taken me to 9 countries across 6 continents, and I’ve never paid for accommodation flights, or tuition fee for myself or my children. I actually started my channel because I was upset by the recent changes in the immigration policies of some countries and wanted people to know that there are other ways to travel the world without paying so much money to an immigration system that does not value or respect people who actually sustain it. I guess the idea was to show the world that it is possible to look at other ways to make countries want you and pay you for wanting you and the joy it brings me is surreal.

I am not relocating outside the country but I relocated from lagos to ibadan for over 3 years now and I have been looking forward to doing amazing things in Ibadan. I did well last year but I am actually looking to do more this year.
