I honestly haven't ever watched a video from Mr Beast and never understood why he was so successful because of it but honestly seeing how smart, humble and down to earth the guy is I'm glad he succeeded.
Joe Rogan is an EXCELLENT (and successful) interviewer mainly because how much he respects everyone he brings to his podcast. Most interviewers make biased questions that can bring up controversial responses from their guests. Joe Rogan is just a curious guy and asks questions about topics that he genuinely doesn’t know and that the interviewed person might know, and that’s why I love his work and I think that’s why he is successful and gets to interview so many interesting people.
@@santrollencio3601 He also does his research on his guests. He just doesn't go blindly about his questions. He always has an open mind. It can be changed by a guest unlike those who are on the left or the right who have such biases. Joe is the GOAT. I really enjoy his meditation and workout videos.
He put in his 10,000 hours to be an expert in his field and it paid off immensely. Being kid-friendly got him brand deals that companies won’t give to a lot of other RU-vidrs. Genius kid. Inspiring af

Jimmy started off super nervous - But that is why Joe Rogan is such a valuable podcast host. 20 minutes into the podcast Mr Beast it's like they were having a personal conversation and we're just spying on them. That's just the best feeling! Love this man.
yeah, seems like Rogan has this super chill vibe about him and it rubs off on his guests. For the most part, which helps his guests relax and they can have a good conversation.
You've got that exactly right. The man's skill at interviewing captured me in short order. I've watched hundreds, if not thousands of hours of his longform podcasts and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I have a hard time doing that with other people, so he is unique to me and well worth his paycheck.
If you hadn't noticed this is how successful people are made, hyper obsession + mastering your craft + success group + never giving up + INTELLIGENCE. He did it all painstakingly regardless
@@majorfarmer5334 joe rogan has been on tv for a very long time.. joe rogans net worth is $120 million. mr beasts is $54 million. According to google at least, but joe rogan has more.
Don't get me wrong, he seems like a great guy, but I don't know if he really is a perfect role model for kids. Having a passion and working hard is great. But what about having no friends in your childhood because you are so obsesed with RU-vid? It's just my opinion, but if I could choose between being super successful at 23 or having a good childhood and friends, I'd choose the second one every single time. Also, I do think he is a good example of hard work, but a lot of times hard work is not enough. I'm kind of worried that kids might follow his example. Imagine devoting your whole life to something this risky, without having a backup plan. Imagine completely abandoning your basic education to do RU-vid and then failing. Sometimes hard work is not enough, we all underestimate the role of luck in our own success. Anyway, I'm worthless and my opinion does not matter.
Umm not just kids look at adults and the way they spend money and are in debt for material things. The boomer, Gen X generation were the highest in terms of materialism thirst.
Still so young. This kid hasn't even scratched the surface of the great things he's going to achieve in life, I just hope I live long enough to see some of it.
Nah. Is all a lie to get money, fame, and to have a platform to spread agendas. Anyone should be able to see how fake he is in every video and picture. He always promotes all official narratives by the government no matter how many holes they may have to deviate the attention of the public. I wouldn't be surprised if he is just a tool of propaganda for the government like many other so called influencers/brainwashers. I mean, he even said that he is considering running for president in the future. It would be so easy it's scary, to gain the trust of the masses with fake philanthropy and clownshows and then become the president. People are so dumb that it could very well happen. I hate liars like him that are worshipped by millions. We humans are extremely retarded for believing and internalizing things like this and I can't express enough how grateful I am for God's mercy and patience with us when we don't deserve it. I'm surprised each day by the capacity of humans to do evil and be stupid.
@@narutofan4545he doesn’t just create soulless RU-vid videos. He mentioned he gave millions away to charity, he has another RU-vid channel Beast Philanthropy where he operates a food pantry for the homeless. He raised $20 million to plant 20 million trees. He has a campaign goal to raise $30 million to remove 30 million pounds of trash polluting, coastal regions, rivers, oceans. Crazy the amount of things his doing at 23.
@@narutofan4545 he gives to charity as a way to promote himself to gain more viewer attraction. I don’t understand how he takes advantage of people tho.
For a 23 yr old he has a really good head on his shoulders. Dude talks about disappointing his mom and trying to avoid that, but it sounds like his mother raised him very well. Proud of the dude, one of the few who deserve the success they got.
If his mother wouldn't put the pressure, he wouldn't end up successful (most probably he would become someone like you 😅). It's very important for parents to make their kids independent.
Nevermind the money, nevermind the views or subscribers, the effort and research this guy puts in is mind blowing. Deserves all the success he gets. Total respect
What an interesting guy! So level headed at such a young age and a great demonstration of what you can achieve when you follow your passion. He was blessed to realize his at an early age.
I like how during the section when Jimmy was talking about editing that all of a sudden Joe Rogan’s editor did horrible editing. Was that supposed to be a joke?
This man is a legend. @13:59 "as a non-profit, it is hypocritical to live in a $10M mansion while trying to feed and help people"....puts a lot of Christian evangelists to shame with that one line.
Wow!!! This is an amazing story! Thank you for sharing your Journey. Follow your dreams, passion! Nothing worst than saying I wish I did! Mr Beast is a humble Genius!
It was amazing to see his confidence grow throughout this segment. He's so humble. He seemed so shy at first, like he didn't do anything important, or wasn't sure. Then he realized he's great and his condifidence took over. I loved it!

I have been micro-obsessing over this man for the past few days. I truly am at a loss of words when it comes to his ability to hyper fixate on something and dedicate his entire life on it. Then you think about how he is literally molding the world and society to film his next videos, and how he does it with a passion for good, and how he is 24 goddamn years old. Then the significance of filming someone else's intimate moments to generate more interest and revenue, and the zeitgeist of a culture where there seems to be no greater happiness than getting money. (and what it means for that culture). The implications both good and bad of such a driven man reaching such heights of power unconventionally, I guess, will play out over the next years, but damn if it isn't hard to not be excited about it when he has most of his life in front of him. It is exciting to think of the changes this might bring to the status quo and the perception of power, but most of all I am extremely interested in the changes to his personality from now on, because the wisdom and just the... sagacity he shows at 24 years old is impressive.
@@BadassRaiden how is he not altruistic if you say it's not compatible? You can definitely make lots of money from a fair business that pays its employees well and also donate lots of those profits to charity, how is it not compatible?
The story at 7:20 is one of the best examples of why environment is so important. If you have goals, surround yourself with people with the same goals and your chances at success skyrocket.
@time Why do you spam links under a video literally teaching you how to grow a youtube channel? How about you actually watch this episode instead of wasting your time copy pasting?
Respect to this guy. He did it completely grass roots, worked his ass off until he made it, and remained humble once he got on top. World could use more people like this.
@Clyde Wellington why do you a automatically assume it’s an act? Maybe he just genuinely is a decent percent. Yeah I’m sure he lives well, but there’s a difference between that and the multi billionaires on Wall Street who do absolutely everything to feed their own pocket. This dude literally makes a living by giving shit away to people. He didn’t start it because he felt guilty, it’s what made him blow up. People always have to hate.
@Clyde Wellington You used the words “clickbait titles” That typically implies that they are misleading. Idk Mr Beast that well or his videos so when I ask this I’m being completely genuine, but are his videos misleading? Is he not really giving out as much money as his titles say?
It's competitive now. You must, like this guy, be one of the first ones to do something brand new. Look at Walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, Tesla, Bitcoin. They all have that in common, to a degree. Joe just said it wasn't luck, but in a way, it was. He was in the right place, the right time in history, and with the right motives to do something brand new.

The way he approaches life, is what I envision I would do, because after a certain point of making so much money, it starts making no sense to want more, or even spend it... and just like he said... "It's just more fuel for my passion"
I’ve never been a huge mr beast fan or anything but this vid gives me a whole other level of respect for him. It’s crazy hearing him talk about this stuff
He's a good guy for sure. There's a video on his channel where he and his buddies give like 100k dollars of free stuff to homeless shelters. Bought them new refrigerators and everything.

I remember that one week or so when he had on a different RU-vidr each day (yeeaaars back) and it probably resulted in some of the worst shows -- Sargon of Akkad comes to mind. Ofc I think Sargon's excuse was accurate, stuck with jetlag from a 14 hour flight, does a show six hours later and has his return flight scheduled 2 hours after the show was supposed to end. Thaaaaat was some bad planning. I think a return of him could be *very* worthwhile.

Jacob Sampsonis I don’t doubt that it is, but what impresses me most is this guy‘s incredible work ethic, to start as a teenager and basically work on something he is passionate about day and night - people who do that with just about anything create such incredible opportunities for themselves, he is just a great example of that.
I never realized the amount of obsession he had and the amount of legitimate STUDYING he did on RU-vid. Makes sense why he's so big. He's a RU-vidr but he's also someone who loves watching RU-vid, so he knows what people want to see or don't want to see.
True. Mr. Beast is not a RU-vidr by chance. He cracked the code by brute force. He's writing the Masterclass on RU-vid as a career, and he's honestly the current peak of independent RU-vid.

I’ve never been super impressed with this very young man aside from his amazing philanthropic work, I’m too old to enjoy his videos. But if he’s not fronting about not spending his money like most people would, I’ve gotta give him props on that. He’s a big influence on young people with every kid under 15 wanting to be a RU-vidr, and I think he knows that.
but really if he knows that then his story here is bad, sure everything aligned and it worked out for him but not focusing on any school, any college, spending all mony etc is not always the best look for kids who jsut want to be a youtuber...i think you should encourage people o be creative and go against the norm but not give them an unrealistic perception of life
