Thanks to Morning Brew for their fun daily business newsletter - sign up for free here cen.yt/mbgriffinmilks2 I hope today's video was a fun change of pace than my usual content. Thanks for watching everyone!
Way lower than this dad of 10 kids LOL! Great video Griff! I do enjoy you stepping away from your regular stock videos and doing a little more personal.
Great video, Griffin! Love the detailed breakdown - so cool to get that perspective! And you're lucky in your area!! For internets speeds, I can only get 30 Mbps up! Definitely sucks when uploading videos, haha!
@@GriffinMilks I'm with Start communications right now! I think they piggy back on Rogers? Usually takes about 15 minutes to upload a 12 minute video, so not too aweful. I'll probably upgrade my computer before my internet, because right now, rendering videos is definitely the biggest bottleneck!
I live in a small town in Nova Scotia, great access to the outdoors, beaches in the summer, great neighbours, our winters aren't too bad and so on, all costs related to my home total about $700 a month, that's all utilities, furnace oil and insurances. I am a senior and do not have a mortgage. The incomes and living expenses that folks have in other part of Canada, I just don't see how you develop a mind set to think these extreme prices and costs are, well the norm. A million or more for a house in Toronto or Vancouver, how to you rationalize that?
Hey Griffin, only if you would be willing, as a future video would you do a full reveal on your entire investment portfolio from all your platforms including a brief overview of all your stocks, ETF's, crypto, how much $$$ you contribute to them on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis (excluding your rental properties I would say)? I'm sure us viewers would really appreciate that! Take care
Is the cobalt card good for Canadians? Are you able to actually get a decent amount of points vs the monthly cost? I swear most places in Canada don't accept American Express. Was contemplating getting one but not sure if it's worth it.
Hey Neighbour!!! i used to live in gatineau Quebec back in 2017 ;) amazing place.!!! thank you for all your hard work! we still own a rental property in gatineau as well
Great video! I just got a loft in Montreal and yup, prices are going up really quick. I love these type of videos. I'd have liked to know how much you're saving/investing per month.
Hey griffin i watch most of your videos and i have a question for you, how did you finance all your real estates? Was it from your own money or from lenders? (How many from Private lenders or banks or.. )
Hi Griffin. I was actually in Gatineau looking at real estate over the past week. Could you give me an idea of the neighbourhoods that you would suggest are the best to invest in in Gatineau for rentals? I was looking in Aylmer, Hull and plateau. Aylmer and plateau seem good but further from Dt Ottawa. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Cool! Aylmer and Hull best bet for sure. Higher cashflows in actual Gatineau though, but not as nice of an area, in my opinion. It's much further from ottawa
@@GriffinMilks thanks again. I like Aylmer more. Hull seems like it has a bigger chance of capital appreciation due to the proximity to Ottawa and the increasing prices there
Hey, doing a great job on the videos. I was wondering if at current prices, Aphria is a good purchase. I would like additional exposure to a growing industry and I would like another company in addition to Trulieve. Thanks.
