Just a heads up to anyone new, I made out like a bandit as a total noob back in early 2021 when there were a limited amount of good projects, and companies getting involved like Disney NFTs were few and far between, and highly speculated upon. The takeaway from the boom and bust was that in most cases there are way too many NFTs (even “official” ones) and way too few people who actually give a s***. I sold a Doge Pound for $12,000 in ETH as a total noob. I think in most cases those days are over. When it comes to trading NFTs are a crap shoot.
Honestly, 99% of NFTs investors lose money. Even very experienced investors and VCs have consistently lost money in NFTs. What works for me is short term trading, bidding below the floor price and selling slightly above the floor price.
My advice is keep up with games/protocols and how people are using NFTs to bring valuable narratives. If you can mint something that you’re happy with holding to zero (these things are illiquid as heck, there’s either an unrealistic demand or NO demand) then you’re good. it’s a dicey road and I don’t recommend it for trading. If anything, be about the tech.
