I have a few things I’m working on: a crochet dress for my daughter (I had knit one but it looked really bad so I frogged and found a nicer pattern in crochet), a shawl that looks like a dragon tail, a doily for the winter holidays that im waiting until fall to finish, and a quilt (like out of fabric, that I will have to completely hand sew because I don’t have a sewing machine anymore)
Oh all lovely projects 🤩 dragon tail shawl sounds amazing?! 💕 hand quilting is relaxing, but I’ve only done small hand quilted projects - best of luck with it! (And ofc all the other projects too 🥰)
nawhh 😂 It's so cute, but also funny how they're like 'no ma, don't touch mic' until you're busy with something, and they just NEED to be the center of attention. I love cats 😂💕
Oh, it's when you wet your piece and dry it to size! I soak mine in wool wash, get as much water as possible out, and dry them either pinned on a blocking mat, or on wooden blockers (for socks). It helps relax the stitches, helps the yarn bloom and can even out things like uneven stitches and colour work 😊 🌸
Whenever my cat is shedding that much, I use my EquiGroomer on him, I just put him in the shower and groom away, and when I'm done I rinse the shower to make it easier to collect all the fur.
Ohh, using a shedding block is smart! we have brushes for him, but he keeps on shedding 😂 I'm a horse girlie, but never thought to try a shedding block for the kitties! 🌸 I'll look into it!
What knitting needles do you use? I crochet, and have been wanting to learn how to knit. I bought wooden needles, and I hate them. I want something that my yarn will glide easily on.
I have a few different ones, but my favourite metal needles are Addi, and KnitPro (knitter's pride if you're in the US!) Zing (they're also colourful 😄 ). Addi are more blunt-nosed, and Zing are sharper. I do love my knitPro symfonie wooden too, though, they're very smooth, but I agree wooden needles can be hard to work with & very hit or miss! Good luck with your knitting adventures! 🌸💕
finally got time to sit and watch this sheesh idk how you did it haha, i would get so tired trying to do let alone film something like this. i loveeeee the shawl so much, and THE SNAILSSSSSS !! so freaking cute also unrelated but your makeup looks so fabulous👌👌 teach me your eyeliner ways haha
Hehe, challenges like these keep me going ngl 😂 Thank you so so much! 💕🥰 And aw, thanks xD very fine brush dip liner, find an eyeliner shape you like, and spend years doing variations of it is my secret 🙈 (oh and also, I never bring the liner across my eyelid these days, just a wing, and then the inner corner on the other side, the rest is eyeshadow )
This was so inspiring, thank you! I definitely have a few lingering WIPs I'd like to get off the needles, and will be giving timing myself a try for sure!
I just want to finish a sweater I haven’t worked on for a while and I had to unravel twice because I used the wrong stitch and the wrong hook size 😅 I love how the shawl turned out and I’m definitely team 🌸
So glad to see an other person having fur everywhere,i have 5 white long haired cats, everything is coverd!there is no escaping,so yeah this gave me a good laugh.
i rarely see other people with the same as many unfinished projects so im happy to see im not alone in this 😭😭 i have a pair of fish mittens where both are halfway done, a hood hat thing that only needs the ribbing to get finished and a huge crochet millipede plushie that only needs to be sewn together and i cant get to any of them with how busy ive been lmao
You're definitely not alone! Awh, I know that feeling, I've had so many things that only needed like 5-10 minutes of attention, but it's just been impossible to get to it. You can do it! ❤️❤️ the millipede plushie sounds great! x)
I think this video was just me watching myself. Working better under pressure, a cat causing chaos, and all the cat hair! I even have the same keyboard but it’s the purple one. 😂 I loved the video! You inspired me to try timing myself, I have several projects I need to finish. Thanks for the lovely video! ❤️
@@Shaiyeh Nooooo don’t be! I feel seen 😂 I have 3 fur babies and their hair is EVERYWHERE! I always tell people all my projects are made with love and Nancy’s hair. (She’s my wild child named after Nancy Drew, she’s always investigating… she’s staring at me right now.) My biggest project is a baby blanket for a baby shower next month. I have been dragging my feet finishing it, wish me luck lol. 💪🏼
@@leia3772 🥰💕 Aw, I get you - it's impossible to get ahead on the lint rolling, especially with 3! we have 2 and it's a lot ^^' Nawhh - love the name! Nancy Drew is called Kitty in the Swedish translations! So it's double perfect for a cat name 😄❤ Best of luck with the blanket! 🌸💕
I was hoping there would be more about the tulip stitch markers coming 😅 I also love the dino top you were wearing during the first bit of shawl knitting
