I think the bone season would be a great series for you! Samantha Shannon has visited each city multiple times before writing a book within that city. There’s one book that’s set in London and one actually in Paris 🤩 maybe that makes you more excited about each book 🥰

I think the 2nd book of the Six of Crows duology is definitely worth the read to really complete the things that you felt were missing from book 1. I know it did for me & dare I say I liked it better than the fist one as well

Going into Summer in Australia and I’m thinking less fantasy and more contemporary romance. I’ve never read an Elsie Silver book so I think I’ll give the series a go :) also, my recommendation for you is the Harrow Faire series by Kathryn Ann Kinsley. 5 books (250-300) pages each and it’s on KU. It’s set in the real world but there’s a man eating murder circus…kinda. I just loved it, and the romance 👌🏼
