I own an mk7 Fiesta ST myself and I would also recommend an rear motor mount. Best ~150 bucks I've spent. Lesser torquesteer, smooter shifting and overall better traction from the tires! An absolute nobrainer! 👌🏼😉
I had to do the same thing to my Sentra SE-R Spec V. It's annoying that you have to do it but that's the price you pay for getting a vehicle designed with frugality in mind lol

*Basically to sum it up, car parts are expensive. But the Fiesta ST is going to be the cheapest there is in terms of aftermarket parts and return in power gains. It helps being a USDM and not a JDM fanboy car so you don't have expensive big brand vendors inflating the prices or just expensive parts simply because "JDM". I guarantee you can FBO this car cheaper than literally any other performance car in the market. It's also because this car is a subcompact to begin with, which is literally on a lower tier than a compact class, so naturally, even oem parts are cheaper.*
Totally worth it, these cars are freaking great! I already spend about 8k on wheels, tires, coilovers, aircups, intercooler, intake, boost pipes, lights, mudflaps, hood gas struts, anti sway bars, lower control arms, droplinks and i'm probably forgetting stuff, also getting a different turbo (x48), exhaust manifold, a custom exhaust and different brakes this sprint to finish what is in my eyes the perfect pocket rocket recipe. And who knows, maybe if i still want more i might try and do a awd swap, the ford ecosport has independent rear suspension and awd and is based on the fiesta chassis, i already checked and most things should just bolt on with a couple things that will have to be welded and made to size, the question is if it has enough ground clearance to fit a rear diff, but that would really turn this pocket rocket in to a small street legal rally car and who doesn't want that?
I got higher suspension for mine since I take mine out to measure new construction a lot. Highly recommend if going for an awd swap I've been looking to do the same and hopefully in about 2 years I can get that sweet sequential shifter

It's been fun watching your build progression. It's given me the motivation to gut my own car to turn into a track build. I've gone a slightly different route but with fairly similar goals. I've got an S280 turbo, MFactory diff, Bilstein B6 shocks and struts Dpro camber plates for the rear and camber bolts up front, cp-e intercooler, Mountune radiator, Turbo Tech Racing motor and trans mounts with Mountune rear motor mount, Pierce Motorsports race bracing package, Sparco seat, same rollbar but unpainted (because race car), custom side exit exhaust (also because race car), 15" x 8" Rota Slipstreams with 225/45R15 Hankook R-S4 tires, and fully gutted with ~285 lbs removed. One thing, I wanna say the "traction bars" are the multipoint subframe braces to help eliminate wheel hop. I've got the Pierce 6 point subframe brace, the torsion bar brace, and the strut tower brace. What you've got is a strut tower bar/brace.

@@GriffinBlanchard Yeah I've got some footage of some of the events I've done, but I haven't done any events since fully converting the car. My goal is to make it out to some bigger tracks, specifically VIR since it's an hour away. And it's all good lol people will know what you meant
I have had mine 16 kona blue Fist for 6 months and put like 15k miles on it. ive left it alone for the most part, except got an amazing deal on a mountune intake system. I honestly would leave the suspension alone on these cars and opt for a sway bar. its already stiff as hell, and only really nice coilovers will be worth it. the car has been absolutely amazing tho i love it.

If you had a completely stock Fiesta ST, would you recommend changing only the intercooler, blowout valve and catted downpipe, without any tune? Car is still a daily drive and just want it to sound better maybe some pops and bangs.
Recently got an 18 st. Had 54k miles, pretty clean exterior and interior. Didint realize until a couple weeks later that the previous owner put a Cobb Catback, Cobb intake and charge pipe, a Cobb Trans mount and a symposer delete. With the heated recaros as well

Love your build i have a Fiesta SE i know is very different and very slow but somehow i bought that car and I’m trying to make it look nice and give it my touch i bought the Fiesta ST wheels and H&R Super Sport springs but I’d like to know if you are using wheel spacers or somebody could help me, I wanna know which brand and size should I use with the ST wheels to get a flush look, Thanks and keep doing what you do, is inspiring!
Great break down of your build. Are you using a Cobb access-port right? Is that an additional 595? Your One step colder sparks, did you go with stock gap? Or custom gap?
i believe it, i have a 2j racing intake and turbo back, my s280 turbo will be here monday, I got the Bravo Alpha intercooler, toyo proxies r888r on enkei gw8's and lots of other fun stuff. im still not done and I am over 10k.

Waiting on my DP to ship for my complete 3" turboback. Whoosh hybrid is in with Mishimoto FMIC and radiator. 93 tune is done, in the midst of my e30 tune. Gonna be sick.
If you have a passion for something, especially modifying your car, it's worth it. You only live once...just do it...get it done...why not. In the end, if you don't live for your passion, your only going to regret it later on in life.

You better be really really careful. In san diego they have a massive dedicated task force to state reffing anything non carb. I am registered in washington and I got reffed. My video hit 100k views. If you are in California, u better make sure cops cannot hear any turbo noise.

Bro, $8,300 is insanely cheap to build a car like that. Just a turbo kit for a mustang or something is going to cost more than that. I see these cars as great deals. So much fun for the money.

I have racelands and I wouldn’t have got them if I didn’t get them used from a buddy. But they are amazing for 500$ new. Better than lowering springs but won’t break the bank.

"The car is worth $10k!" IDK dude, looking online the price for a stock FiST seems to start around $20k for older or higher mileage options. The cheapest I have seen around here is $17k for a '17 with like 75k miles on it at a shady-AF dogshit car lot. If you can still pick up a FiST for $10k where you are I envy you.
