Hi from Florida USA - I would love it if you did a whole video on the scaffold and the long pole (w/surface cleaner) set up - you would end up influencing an entire industry here that does it wrong (apparently, after watching you). I figure you charged 8 x 110 = 880 - good price for a roof SO mucked up. (and you included gutters and windows). Also, consider having people apprentice with you for a day (for roofs) if they can make it to england (for $1,000) per day - would be worth it! 🙂

Hey Ash, How do you feed the brush on the end of the 30ft pole when your applying the biocide? is it direct from the pressure washer or do you have a separate small water (softwash) pump set up feeding the biocide through it.... Cheers Ash, keep up the good work...👍

@@aemackintosh thanks🙏Just wondering: isnt it possible to do the first phase how you do it (high/moderate pressure) and use the flatsurface cleaner for the second Phase (biocide) as well, but with little bit less pressure? The swirly gadget would definitively coat the roof faster than the brush. Or am I thinking wrong here?

Dude it’s flow rate. Those machines need 21 litres a minute on top output. Your tap puts out 9pm! So in theory your machine won’t get enough water. Bigger jobs like tennis courts etc need much bigger than a wheelie bin. Hope this helps

I hear that pressure washing damages the roof tiles, is this correct ?
@aemackintosh
@aemackintosh 4 месяца назад
If it’s done badly then yes you could damage the roof. It’s exactly the same for a patio or driveway, it can also be damaged by someone who doesn’t take care over what they’re doing.
