Hy there, lovely to meet you!! In rearms of degree you are eligible. I do recall on the EPIK website they had more info as to what you would need to do is a teacher from India. If you go into the EPIK website www.epik.go.kr/ then go under eligibility you’ll find more info on there 🤓🤓

Hi Sanelisiwe, I saved enough for the application process and the various expenses linked to that as well as paid off my phone contract and clothing accounts (I did not want to pay these from South Korea). But I didn't have enough for my first month in Korea before getting paid as well as my flight ticket. So this is what i did to get me here, i was not willing to wait for the next intake ☺ From Jan I moved back home so my January and February salary did not have to go to rent. So I saved there. Then with that move i decided to sell all my belongings that i was not taking to Korea (so all the furniture in my apartment). Still wasn't enough. I needed: R20 000 for my first 1-2 months before getting my first pay R10 000 to pay for quarantine (you probably wont need to worry about this if you have been fully vaccinated and if COVID regulations stay the same by the time you come, you don't need to go to a quarantine facility) R12 000 for my flight ticket to South Korea So with moving out from home, selling my stuff, Jan salary (feb salary was paid while i was in Korea) - This was not enough. So I ended up taking out my very first credit card. Which i paid off as soon as I got my first salary. Im not advising you to get a credit card - just sharing what i did :) Almost forget, need a little extra cash to cover other expenses in Korea like getting an Alien Registration Card , Buy a sim card, paying for medical check during orientation.
Hi Ayanda 😋 SAQA Process: To start the process send an email to verificationsletter@saqa.org.za and include the following in the email: 1. A completed SAQA Consent Verification Form (you can get it on their site or you can mail them and they will send it to you) 2. A high quality digital scan of your degree certificate SAQA will email you an invoice with their banking details. Deposit the funds and email the Proof of Payment back to SAQA. They will then contact your old university to confirm you are a graduate and then issue an original Verification Letter and print and stamp the scan of your degree certificate. Send a courier to collect these 2 pages from SAQA to take them to DIRCO for the apostille to be attached. - I used postnet since I couldn’t go to these various offices myself. (When you email SAQA they will send you a quote and ask you were the letter should be going once it is ready. I told them to send it to postnet. Once it was done I then went to postnet with my police clearance and asked that they send my SAQA letter and my police clearance to DIRCO to be apostilled. Once that was done I asked they send it back to Postnet for me to pick it up)
