This is quite interesting. You changed my perspective or way of thinking since when I check opportunities on Indeed or LinkedIn, the pay is usually above $50,000 per year for roles that are not even senior.

My exp: for the dev who has exp in C++ and move to Sweden from another place, normally you will get from 41000 to 48000 Kr base on you YOE ( 6 years to 10 years). So your example is amazing, this is dream salary for a lot of people here including dev. I am living at Gotenburg.
I am a Software Engineer in America wanting to make a move to Sweden (or Europe in general). Before I got laid off from my previous employer, I was making $180,000 USD a year, so that sounds like a third of what I had been making. From what I've heard, Sweden (or at least Stockholm) is very expensive. I was barely able to make it by on what I made to care of my small family with no house here in America. How do the Swedish survive?!
Do you have bachelor or master in system? I am debating if i should go for CS: Robotic and AI (bachelor) or programming and system architecture (bachelor).
