Always happy to see someone discover Kendrick Lamar. For future Kendrick reactions, you should keep in mind that for the most part his music is designed to work as a whole album. There are some songs like "How Much A Dollar Cost", "Keisha's Song", "M.A.A.D. City", "Blacker The Berry" and "FEEL." that work well on their own as well, but mostly it's meant to be listened to in the context of the album. Tracks like "u" and "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst" get recommended a lot, and for a good reason because they're some of Kendrick's best work, but they won't make much sense without context.
Well thank you for letting me know! I have been pretty lucky. I have good subscribers, and they always let me know the context! Thanks for the support and for watching!
Just a suggestions. You should go to rapgenius and have the lyrics while the song plays in another tab. Rapgenius allows you to see the explanation/meaning behind specific lines if you click on the lyric
Also with the whole entire songs lyrics up you don’t have to follow along at the speed/accuracy of some random lyric video.. a lot of times people that make those videos don’t bother to look up all the correct words
“For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:42-46
