It depends on the company my starting salary was 26k as a Prep artist in india. If you excel in your work, you will definitely have a good future in VFX.
VFX supervisor journey-> 1. Get scam by a institution 2. Regret and work for pennies because you failed career path 3. 1st salary 8k 12 hours a day 4. 2nd increase 18K after 2 years 5. 3rd increase 25k after 4 years 6. Change in VFX pipeline trauma 7. Luckily supervisor 50k after 7 years 8. Quit th job phase 9. Stating a show/ studio and earning in lakhs if your luck has a luck and it's luck is lucky 🤧 10. Happy ending

If you guys are not aware of jungle book and Intergalactic which are some big movies made in India. A vfx sup will be getting around 5L in india for month and Lead myself will be getting around 3L per month. And also speaking in world India is the third biggest VFX hub.

I need help here, I want to persue a course in 3D animation and VFX and I am a creative person by nature but not that good at it. I am currently 26 years old and want to leave my current BPO job at any cost as it is getting terrible day by day here. Hey mate, I’m here to share my opinion on your comment. If you’re interested in 3D and are you willing to get into VFX industry as a 3D artist . I have some points that 1. You need to know how VFX pipeline works with 3D especially in India 2. Learn maya , blender , unreal engine learn in RU-vid or udamey for at least 6 months by using cracked version of maya and blender Unreal is open source 3. I advise you to don’t quite job before you feel confident on 3D and this is my only opinion it may be apply different to you 4. Make some own projects on your own (showreel) 5. Finding job may feel hard but you can tie up with freelance artist too 6.Collect some data of junior 3D artist in India it may help you somewhere I wish you good luck bro you can I hope it helps a bit for you 🙌🏻

This guy is so delusional. Getting into vfx is no joke and its not something you can do just by completing masters. Even if you take a vfx degree, you have to learn and practice for 2 or 3 years to get a decent position in a good company. Also most of the vfx works for hollywood movies is done is india

Engineering degree is respected in every field no matter what we do after that, it's very good that you are thinking to start a RU-vid channel if you have enough knowledge about VFX and help others to become employable by learning vfx
