@skstatus1965 Gross salary is around 12 lac p.a., without IT and pension fund deductions one gets around 63k to 65k, house rent which is directly credited into landlord's account is around 25k for metro cities and one can claim fuel for car upto 10k and every 2 to 3 years around 1.5 L one can claim for furniture, this takes CTC to around 12L p.a.
I worked for 10 years as an Assistant Manager in a Public Sector Bank and I can assure you no bank except SBI would give you a starting salary of 12 LPA. I got 12 LPA after working for 10 years at the same post, I didn't appear for any promotion because I didn't want to.
SBI assistant manager scale 1 ctc is around 15 lpa according to its notification And the rest of the nationalised banks around 11-12 lpafor scale 1 officer varies from bank to bank

For those who are thinking it's SBI or IBPS then you all are wrong they have a training for 3 to 6 months and a probation period of 2 years. These guys are in Private sector bank, I am guessing it's ICICI
Go for graduation with a subject of ur interest while u figure out what u want to do with ur life, I would suggest u look into ssc, ibps, cds, nda, LIC, afcat exams There's a lot i mean a lot of exams j didn't know even after my graduation, for ssc check chsl(10+2 lev exam) cgl and cpo I just gave u some pointers since u said u just finished 12 ,so look into it ,the type of exams, jobs and the exam pattern n give it a try for those exams that u r eligible now or get a graduation degree and go for higher lev exams Or even if u like,u can go for master after college and then even phd where u can pursue field work or become a professor (handsome pay with min work) Hope this give u some idea what to do,@@abhinandanmaurya47
I think they are talking about ICICI or HDFC.They have their own training program. Because Public sector banks do not pay 12lpa to AM. Also after training you become PO not AM in PSBs.
It gives, rather pvt banks don't give that much. Pvt banks give hardly 40k per month to officers after completion of training. But govt banks do give nearly 12lpa including all allowances. The officer in psbs get about 40k as various allowances. And they get in-hand some 54-55k after nps and tax. Nps deduction is about 7800 for clerks so it could be min 10k for officers. So yes, they get about 12lpa per year
@@IIM_KOZHIKODE I said a similar thing only, I said in hand 54-55k for officers, their employee contribution of NPS should be around 5k so yes gross comes around 60k (about 2k extra to what you said) . When we add employer contribution to this it comes around 65-67k then they are given many allowances which will accumulate to 12lpa initially But pvt banks hardly give 40k to officers, then after the loan deduction and all, the in-hand will come down to 32-35k, which is a clerk's salary in psbs.

@Sk status Bhai sab same hi to hota hai wahi aptitude questions, yes i appeared for IBPS PO exam but never prepared for it. In fact I was preparing for MBA entrance exams CAT, XAT and GMAT but because all aptitude exams are almost the same I was able to clear it. Also I am not sure about SBI salary, all i know is they pay much higher than other PSU banks. Also if you are preparing for bank exams I would suggest to give a try to the RBI entrance exam aswell.
