He said customer success. Customer service and customer success manager are two different things. They are not into the call center. Their work must be converting the sale of a business by implementing strategies.
All these figures that they gave are applicable only to people with decent amount of experience along with some added skills. A fresher will get half of it or may be lesser if in Customer Service.
Damn bruh. I might've spent just a couple lakhs on 2 UGs, 2 Diplomas and by god's grace I'm making more than what this guy is getting after spending 8-10 lakhs. In this day and age, it's more about the skill set than a degree.

That's customer sucees not customer service. Although both are under same domain, but customer success is more a managerial position and deals with the improvement of customer service experience and provides strategies how to improve the process. In good companies customer success people are payed in lakhs. However generally customer sucess managers doesn’t directly deal with customers, they works within the Internal team. Normal customer support people are on the agent level and deals directly with the customers and doesn’t require high end skills or MBA degree.
The hard fact though is almost everyone makes more than a mbbs doctor but almost everyone believes the exact opposite and harsh thing is salary of a doctor never goes up it can stay same or even it can come down no matter you go with 10 yrs experience the salary will be same 40 to 50 k 😅

One telling salary per year and another telling it per month; first interviewer should clearly ask them what he expect from them.. monthly or yearly salary.
