Hi Arsh I am a startup launching my first app ,as the designing part is been taken care of by the free lancers , the coding part is remaining kindly suggest as companies are charging too much to do it !!!
@@AshrafKhan-bs3sv You should keep the designing part to freelancers. For the development, it's best to work with an agency so that you don't have to worry about the outcome much. Thanks a lot, I have been searching for these types of video for 6 months finally I got it... Everyone explaining these things like we want to be a software engineer.... You are great one that u have mentioned MVP and SAAS it's very helpful and also comparison between low cost and high cost difference, it is better to loss of money than saving with cheap developing ideas 30 features reduced to 15 via MVP and same cost will be charged on $120 per hour Then 30 features of cheap developing
Thanks Singh!!! you opened my eyes on how much making an app cost. I have a lot of features probably over 80 features. With your advice I’m going to start small with the features. Im probably going to start with 10 or maximum 15 features. Still going to be pricey but better than paying probably over 500k
Absolutely. Start small with an MVP. You can always add feature in subsequent launches. If you need any help, feel free to reach out. Chat with my team here m.me/Official.ArshSingh or reach us at team@arshsingh.com
Thank you, Arsh. Extremely quick, comprehensive and helpful. I really appreciate it! (Btw, did you know that messy handwriting probably means you're a genius?) ❤️
Wish there was an affordable way to get an app 😕 while I understand that it's a time consuming task to undertake I wish there was something for people starting out in business with little funds
Always had an idea for an app but never put it in place. This video atleast gives me an idea of a starting point. It would be really helpful to give an actual example of a very minimal type of app.
Not always the case. I've helped a ton do it for a lot less. Connect with my team for any queries: arsh.cc/messenger Or find me here: Instagram - arsh.cc/instagram Facebook - arsh.cc/facebook Linkedin - arsh.cc/linkedin Twitter - arsh.cc/twitter
Great leadership post to a old boring question...hahaha Problem being is that for years now tech companies have done a horrible job marketing to end users and potential customers! I've watched this for the last 4 or 5 years straight and it's probably just let's say the last 12-18 months that the marketing has been transparent in answering cost questions. The strangest thing is that tech should always place their feet in the consumers shoes bc we all are consumers for something at the end of the day. How would developers like it if they had to guess the price of a loaf of bread everyday... hahaha White, wheat, rye, pumpernickel, bleached, non bleached, it all depends...hahaha But Arsh this is a GREAT start for your marketing and it speaks volumes as to what it is you're going to accomplish. I love it. It's much needed stuff in the U.S. I liked & subscribed and I'll definitely contact you when I need your leadership services!
That's true! It's very confusing for the end-users to see such variation in the pricing. And it's really important to be transparent and let people know what's going on behind the scenes. Having said that, there is also a huge variation in the quality that comes out. You can put up four walls and a roof and call it a house (or a treehouse). Or you can build a multi-level, energy-efficient home with a perfect blend of form and function. The cost varies a lot and so does the quality along with it. Happy to connect with you when the time is right. Arsh hi@singharsh.com
My major interest is utilizing common platform apis like Google maps etc. Going to watch a few more of your vids. Thanks again for uploading this matey. J, Durban south africa
This is very interesting! Is it possible for a stay-at-home mum to create an app herself from her home if is she knows she has a really good idea for an app? Is there any really user friendly app creating methods. I'm a single mum on a single mother's pension in Australia so I don't have a lot of money to invest in my app but I have I know a really good app idea. What can I do?
Nice work! You've opened my eyes to reasonable expectations in this prospect. What about partnerships and licensing? If you don't want to reinvent the wheel or find a better execution of part of your apps design. How easy is it to get an agreement? I mean beyond just an API hook.
Thanks, @Nysteelhorse. You certainly shouldn't reinvent the wheel when it comes to the existing features/modules but the overall concept should have a USP which does require certain customizations. For the execution of certain parts, you can get into an agreement to ensure the safety of the IP. For more queries, chat with my team at arsh.cc/messenger
I just subscribed. Please share more about apps knowledge. I'm a beginner. I have been a researcher on learning for about 20 years. Just curious what I can do to combine technology with the knowledge I have about children and learning. You are great in the video because you are clear and direct in your message. I didn't have to fast forward to skip anything. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Arshdeep sir, a great video with great knowledge. I find this video very informative because it is straight forwarding no bullshit whatsoever just straight knowledge. Keep it up. I might be want to see some more video on business development. Good luck 😉
Hey Arsh, your videos are not only value-packed and straight to the point but also devoid of brand music that ruins the video experience. Thanks a lot for NOT putting that.

Hi Lou, that's a good question. I will create a video around this soon to answer you. There are nda, non-disclosure agreements in place to help you secure your idea.
Hello sir. I want to build app almost like OLX. What will be the cost for ios and android? And how much for promoting app via google ad word and other google add on social media and YT? I want my app for free download and app downloader will unlock premium features so i can recover my investment. So where should i go for all these services.
Yep. A bit more working with large corporations. I have done enterprise web implementations at 250/hr broken down just as you say from high level. It's closer to 150-200/hr Android but that is also a higher costing specialty vs say a standard Web app.
Im self teaching app development at the moment. Just at the beginning. I dont have any funds to put towards uploading an app as i barely get enough to get by each month. This is before ive watched this video. If any of my questions havent been answered through this ill put another comment
I thought this would answer some questions but unfortunatly it didn't. Its useful if i was going to get someone else to build an app for me, then its good information

I got an idea for an app and this video has been very very helpful and informative . Also I am a first time viewer and glad I stumbled onto your video.
@@MACQJR I am just have had make a little search because I am waiting for some money to invest, once I have it I will be ready to make businnes and look for an app maker
@@johnnewman7339 what is your idea, what are what are looking to achieve? Who’s funding your idea? What company are you using to build your idea? Nobody wants to fund just an idea…. That’s my issue
Brother, If an individual build an app through Android studio, then to how much extent will it be cost effective? Please let me know Can a non-professional person develop a decent app? If yes, then please upload a tutorial on it...
1) If you are building the app yourself, there is no cost as such for the development. However, you will still incur the cost to host it and for third party integrations. 2) Yes, a non-pro can build an app but not sure how scalable and useful it would be. It's best to focus on your strengths (could be marketing/sales/outreach etc) and get someone to build it for you.
mobile is fairly difficult for a developer, there are so many ways to make them and some require a lot of knowledge and practice but I think you can learn but you'll invest a lot of time
Great information. Small then add features to it. I like the approach. I think I was trying to get all the features all at once to quickly. My designers were bouncing around to much instead of focusing on accomplishing one thing at a time.
Do you have a video that explains how to build an app; Where users on page 1. make profile. 2nd page would be a list of all users on app. Maybe a green dot if they are online. ? For example: say 5 people work for my company. Three people go to the app, the app is on their iPhone screen so they are (online). They leave the app open while they go to work. When they close the app. They go offline. I’d like it where users can even message each other or even maybe a blog on the page. I know this sounds like a chat board.. lol. Thoughts ? Make sense?
Hi Jason, there are existing solutions that can help you achieve and if you like, you can certainly have your own company's app too. Happy to help. Connect with my team here arsh.cc/messenger
Everybody is talking from client point of view ... what about us developers? As a new freelancer, I have absolutely no clue how much to quote to client, how to calculate estimated hours required for a project.
Hi Priyank, this video should certainly give you an idea. How much time (hours) do you take to work on a specific feature? What is your overall expense based on which you can calculate your hourly rate? Multiply the two and you'll have the basic cost per feature (eventually app) quote for your clients. Hope this helps. Great video , when it comes to developming an app - what skill sets/ roles are needed apart once the design and hi fed wireframing is done ? I mean what type of designers etc? Thanks 🙏
@@ArshSingh thanks Arsh, i just finished high fidelity wireframes of simple app with 4 features ...(free app) for IOS , when you mentioned IOS and Android on the list , are they different to back/front end guys ? what skill set do they IOS guys require? thanks man
Hey Jay, since you are just getting started you can learn to code online. You don't need a degree or anyone's permission. Or you can find a technical team or partner and focus on the business side. For more queries chat with my team here: arsh.cc/messenger
I can completely related with all the factors that you have highlighted. Is there any way I can look for list of best app development agencies to filter from based on their hourly rates, expertise, ratings, reviews, etc.?
You might have stood amazed eventually, 'how much does it cost to make an application?' If you utilize any of the application improvement gauge number crunchers on the web, you will be posed numerous inquiries and afterward go anyplace somewhere in the range of around $12,000 and $400,000. For some organizations but no one gives you a reasonable cost, right? Thanks for sharing keep making this kind of video.

Great video. Thank you for sharing all of this. It was very helpful. What I want to know is how to do a small market test to determine the viability of an idea before investing too much? Also, how do you evaluate SAAS companies and app developers?
I'm glad you found the video helpful! One way to do this is by creating a minimum viable product (MVP) and releasing it to a targeted audience or a small group of users. This allows you to gauge interest, gather feedback, and validate your idea without investing too much time or resources upfront. To evaluate, consider factors like their track record, testimonials, portfolio, expertise in your specific industry or niche, etc. Hope this helps!
I love your video. I'm working on an app right now, and u are spot on on everything. Started with developers in the US, and had to outsource some of the work to developers in India. It is way cheaper, and they really do a great job. Do your research, like he said and take action.
hi arsh thanks for this, just wondering how do you go about validating your idea before building it and also is it possible for an app to integrate into another - for example using app A inside app B?
Couple of ways to validate among many: 1) Create a design prototype and get feedback from your target audience. 2) Get an MVP developed and put it in the hands of your customers. The second option is more powerful. Many integrations possible but your queries isn't clear. Thanks, Arsh Singh for this information. What would be your advice after you start having reasonable success from your MVP. a) add more platforms (eg: mobile apps after web app mvp) while keeping the same features or b) add more features keeping the same platform (web in this case)?
You can find someone who says they will pay for the app they want, but try finding someone who needs to have an app done who will also agree to stringent payment terms that will bullet proof you from getting screwed. Not so easy......

I like your video. You jumped to straight way points. Let me know if there is good way to find better mobile app developers company. Freelancing is good option Or direct company approach for development is good option?
At the end of the video, you were suggesting about SAAS companies where in the users can pay fees to use their custom app services. I think for an MVP model, this sounds interesting and viable. Can you give me some examples for such SAAS companies..
