Firstly, thanks so much for creating these videos! Very helpful! Secondly, the multiple camera angles work well for an A and B camera, meaning A is your primary that you talk into and B is for close up shots or shots of you talking into the A camera :).
I love Canva! I did make a plan to choose paid option which i feel like should be over by now for my free trail but its not over ever time I check .. so anyway back to my point I love canva and made good use of the free trial option to brand my youtube channel and design my channel art. The only reason I chose the paid option was that if you search for youtube channel art and RU-vid Icon canva ready has the exact measurement portions that will work for youtube. I know that was a little wordy but that is my evil master plan to take advantage of canvas services because why not?
Becca, these videos have been so helpful!!! Can you do a video about the whole Sales Tax thing!? This is so confusing and I can't exactly figure out what I'm supposed to do. I haven't made any sales yet.. but I'm scared if I do and don't have this part set up yet!
I will do a video on sales tax as soon as I understand it fully.... according to my tax preparer, you need to pay sales tax for things sold in your state. So I pay Georgia 7% for each sale in Georgia. Some states have started asking that you pay them for sales in their state, which is why TPT sends sales tax to some states and not others. But all of them have different rules! I would talk to a tax professional (but please, not H&R Block...) about what is required in your state
I agree! They say you have access to premium features and marketing tools... but I’ve spent hours digging and searching and have yet to find any clear information on exactly what that means!

Ironically, I am currently reading the 80/20 rule. I've always tried to be intentional about my actions, but I'm really trying to start thinking 80/20. I'm not currently sure, but I am looking and tracking to figure it out! More info will be out in the Q&A which should be Friday.
My question is if I use a resource such as Mcgraw Hill Wonders sight words to create a lesson or a worksheet do I need to give them credit or get permission to use their words? Thank you!

Hi! So you can literally just paste the link in the description of the video. In TPT’s description, you can highlight words, then click the link and enter your RU-vid channel’s link!
When it comes to taxes - does being a premium TpT seller bring you more or less in your refund? I’d like to be in your TpT critique. I’ve been a seller for maybe a month. I sell a variety of materials and have multicultural materials up currently cause I’m finishing up that unit/concert this month in my classroom.

Hi! So I teach music, so I don't have a tons of passages. However, due to copyright, I can say that they either have to write their own or pay someone to write it for them. You can't take passages from other places unless you have permission for it.
Q & A: Would you ever consider quitting your job and working on your blog/tpt store full time? Why or why not? I would also love to hear your thoughts on my tpt store (www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Simply-Curiosity) I make speech, language and social skills resources (mainly for speech pathologists but many of my resources are also suitable for teacher.) So I didn't see this before I filmed the Q&A coming out later this week... but.... Yes. My plan is to take my business full time. I have found that even though I love teaching, I am passionate about helping other teachers. I want all of those super-overwhelmed-and-over-it faces to go away. I find I think about my business constantly. That won't be for a few years though, so I am trying to really enjoy my time in the classroom right now and do lots of experimenting!
