It may be bold, but if you look closely there is something that helps. Almost the same I do to my 95cm 6.3kg house cat - people see the canine teeth and are afraid of them, but in a cat what does real damage are the teeth behind them on the sides and the back. The canine teeth just stab but don't slice, it's painful but much preferred over the teeth in the back that slice deeply and can detach chunks of meet.

@@igelbofh Look again. There is a trick for avoiding bites, that consist in opening the cat mouth by her/his side. That way they can't apply force, even if they want to unless they bounce back and bite. Vika knows and apply this technique, you can see that in this video, look how she open Luna's mouth by the side with her fingers before putting the pills down the cats throat as deep as possible to avoid luna to spit them out. She does it really quick , trained and careful professional 🥰

I wonder if Pill Pockets would make the process easier?

So impressive to see what a beautiful cat she’s grown into from such tenuous beginnings. Luna’s so very lucky to have you both, Vika & Vova. And so compliant. My house cats have never taken pills so well. One of them pretended to swallow one, & I found it later on the floor. 🤣🤣
