This is why it’s called Canadian Gully “The suburb was originally named Canadian Gully after Canadian immigrant gold digger "Captain" Henry Ross, famous for his role in the Eureka Rebellion.” I can’t paste the link because comment will be removed. I found the information on wiki. This is what I type in that lead to my answer “Where did Australia canadian gully get its name from”
That's pitty cool to see a Canadian make he way down to Australia I just read up on him wow man that awesome leading a 1000 miners with rifles and mostly mining tools ahaha ahh imagine seeing that coming up the road ... cant say he dident try to accomplish what Mr Ross wanted to .. n damn what a boat ride that must of been
@@VoGusProspecting That's so true! However, the gold here in Michigan, USA is practically non existent. I've heard some people say that the glaciers scraped up some gold and deposited it around here, but it's very small and hard to come by.
I can't get enough of your videos. This would be my hobby full time. I get to Georgia every now and then with no luck. Living in Florida sucks unless you collect fossils.
Really nice result there - looks like a fantastic day! I just got some pans as a gift and I'm going to start with paydirt first - but I'm really looking forward to doing some panning in my area. The gold around here is pretty scarce to say the least but it will still be a lot of fun trying to find some!
My dog has epilepsy and for the last two days he was having grandmall's I did you one better I gave him hug's a pillow and belly rubs ! Yes I am nuts but in a good way 😊
Hi Chris. Great video. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. To all members also. Talk to you later my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
CHRIS fantastic video and I think you need to go back there and get the rest of that 4yr gold lol. CHRIS I just got a new gold pan what is the best way to season the pan??? 👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦
Thats awesome leave something 4 years and no one found it flipping amazing man I thought it was going to be a .4 may be .45g aww fern I bet ull learn how to swim befor I do ahahaha much love n stay golden
Nice job, Chris! I found an area this morning that has quite a few points of interest. Bedrock, black sand and quartz just to name a few. All I need to do now is find out if I’m aloud to prospect there.
Love your channel Chris, oh yeah miss griz to! I have a gold rat 6” sluice with the dream mat. I have bet wanting to put a screen on it but not enough water to move the bigger rocks off so I’m glad you did this video, I will try it with out a screen. Thanks Chris.
Another great video Chris it won't be long and I will back out doing the same but for now your videos feed my hunger to go out prospecting. Thanks for your great content look forward to your next video
Chris has got quite a few vids explaining in good detail the use of cell based matting systems. Basically you want 9 degrees fall which is about 50mm on the gold rat mini, you want at least minimum 25mm of water depth flowing over, and you need oscillation in the cells so the heavy things can displace the light. Well worth looking back through some of his earlier vids mate, they are extensive 👍
Chris don’t you think that the bigger cobble going over that matting is creating an under current which may pull a majority of your small gold out ??? I could see doing that with miners moss because it would be harder for larger rocks to pull that gold up out of it but with the dream mat there isn’t much holding that gold down. Just a theory. 🤔 Either way I am always watching and always enjoy your vids man. 👊
Now that’s what I call one brilliant thought out excuse not to use a classifier if I ever heard one , which is completely unhelpful to my backing you to find that nugget in one. Oh well my odds are dramatically falling in the wrong direction. Bugger!! Another great video which is a plus👍
Man! that was one of the best gold hauls, I've seen lately and only a hundred shovels. I would stay on that creek the rest of my life and die smiling! ;)
@Vo-Gus Prospecting just a quick one re the classifier if ya using a gold rat you are aware you can get a forward classifier attachment that sits on the sluice and does the classifying for ya as you feed it also will hold back the bigger stuff to really clean it. IT works wonders and basically no gold lost using it.
@@VoGusProspecting So is a day out fishing :) but we all want more haha When you're on a good spot, 1 shovel could be 20 grams though. One pump of the yabbie pump got me 12.7 grams :) so its very hit and miss.
I’ll guess .31 back in a bit...hey what did you do with that 100th??? I want a re weigh lol great adventure bummer fern lol thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
About your last video, not really enjoying the drug references, such as booger sugar and pretending you are snorting up the gold. Not trying to be a complainer or anything. Im a recovering addict and i dont appreciate it. you cant please everyone , i like your channel tho. Have a good day from So. Cal.
Hi Chris 👋. I know that you are a very busy man but I'm struggling to adapt the information to my landscape. Could you please look at YAT ROCK on Google maps and tell me if this double bend in the RIVER WYE is the right type of location. I can't find bedrock to crevice in England so I'm going to have to use your method of sand bars and gravel banks. Thanks buddy. It would be awesome to hear from you.👍🏻⚒
Easiest way is to identify the most abundant heavy mineral in the stream, such as iron stone or tin. Then just work on following and finding that. Its a lot easier to follow the heavies to the gold than it is just to look for gold.
@@VoGusProspecting excellent. I'll stick to the script then. Ideally I need to look in the cut above the hard clay layer and keep the faith in myself. I appreciate all your knowledge and will continue the hunt for a pan of happiness. Cheers 🍻
@@VoGusProspecting Thats one hard wearing mat! I Love my river sluice with dream mat, im running too much clay bound material atm, to not classify. Cheers for letting me know. 👍
God bless you thank you very much because it is learning a little more even that I do not know much English pasito I understand I understand your videos teach me a lot
@@VoGusProspecting man whats up with busted nickers lol looked like he was in your stomping grounds. Then at then end showed every1 the way in. I don't know I could be wrong. But if so thats kinda messed up.
