I think this was the first gold prospecting video that Amy completely watched. Good job! I don't think she has watched any of mine end-to-end. I'm not into prospecting but really enjoy your very well put together videos. My only advice would be to allow yourself time to do the other good things in life otherwise you could end up toothless, long bearded and eccentric like a few of the other poor, sad soles prospecting !

My best day there was 4 grams. What's up with you? lol Broken, sharp bedrock means that people have already broken off the smooth, fractured bedrock. it takes a LOOONG time to replenish the gold in those same areas. And ya, we dug that over years ago and someone had already cleaned it out well.

You can get cordless shop vacuums from various companies (I have one from Milwaukee) that runs on the same batteries as my drills and saw. Anyhow, it would be VERY efficient at cleaning up those crevices, Pauly. They are even wet/dry capable, most of them anyhow. But obviously the dry crevices would be most efficient. This could perhaps make your cleanups much quicker, and more thorough?
I did notice at 2.45 in the vid pauly you applied an interesting technique!! Rather than shaking the pan side to side you shook your body and the pan stayed still. 😂😂😂

I want that silver nugget, except platinum. :-) ... very rare indeed, a platinum nugget that size. Some have been found over the years in the Klamath mountains of Oregon and N. California, IIRC.

You are so lucky to live near the gold spots unlike Chicago IL that has nothing> I always have to fly to Colorado or anywhere out west for adventure. I did find a spot in Alabama but I need some experience guys to help because of its a creek with white sand and those pebble sandstones.
Im an Old Man when I was Young I went looking for Gold when I cam back my Grandfather said How did you go I said I found Nothing He said too me There is more gold in the Suburbs I said what do you mean He said Garage sales and Auctions So I went to do that instead in the 1970s I became an antique dealer and made a fortune from that bought a property too sell from sold the property when I retired for millions. lol It was a different time then.
