Takes me right back to the first time I heard it. The climax on the last verse "I still see your face." I used to hope this came on the radio back in the day.
Songs like this bring me back to my childhood... Born in 75' ... Mom always playing 45s... Blessed to grow up when I did and Grateful... Culmination of the Great Bond of Spirit and Soul in this music.!!!

One of those songs you listened to over and over again with all your teenage angst. When the words to the song said everything you couldn't say. When EVERY love interest was the most important thing in the world!
Absolutely, one of my favorite songs, of all time! Melody, lyrics, message, phenomenal vocals, it literally has it "all"! Many other major artists/bands, have agreed, its quite perfectly a "perfect song". Transports me back in time, to a happy, innocent little boy, who loved music. And,....this song, never gets old, ever. Unlike me 😢. Thank you Ambrosia 😊!, good times, great memories, indeed!
Beautiful memories of 1975. Miss all of my teenage friends from back in the day then, 50 years ago. This song was part of our soundtrack. Just getting my driver's license and hot rodding my mother's car.😂
Love this song. The hardest part is when he says" sometimes when we make love I still can see your face" hard for him and sure hard for whom he is with. It happens 😢
Love this song makes me wanna cry, he should have tried to get her back if he’s still seeing her face when he’s loving someone else but then again we wouldn’t be enjoying his love song
I know what you're saying I married my husband At 17 we are married 17 years we had a beautiful daughter I thought my life was wonderful Then he left us for a man But every time I hear this song unfortunately I think of him😢 however I refuse to let my personal problems denigrate this wonderful song❤
I LOVE THE OLDIES MUSIC OF THE 60'S,70'S,80'S,90'S..THAT I GREW UP LISTENING TO..❤❤❤❤ THIS IS THE FAR MOST CALMING & RELAXING AND HONEST MUCIC...BLESSED BE 🙏🙏🙏 ALWAYS ~LORI LEE SANTIAGO
I was just a little kid in the 70s. But I remember car rides to the Jersey Shore and my Mom playing the car 🚗 radio 📻 with beautiful songs 🎵 like this one. We can agree that the 70s decade produced many great classics!
I love this song! From the very first time I heard it as a young kid in the late 80's and when I had my first crush on this cute girl in Junior high it still rocks!
I've ALWAYS loved Ambrosia and all their music. Some evenings I have to pull up all of their songs and just listen and let the good memories flood right back in.❤😊
I been thinking about music over the decades have the lyrics has changed also changed the world thought about love when are artist sings about love songs. And how it keeps Us in a romantic State of mind. Then when the new song new lyrics how different. Then we start thinking of the how we identify with that song. And how the lyrics change the youth way of thinking. Now thinking negativeIy. Cuz my youger days the song was big part of i was. Today i love music, well i always did. . It sets my tone out look. And in the ways treated ppl. (don't want to say hate). We need to bring back. the lyrics that will give more positive. TY Jesse God Bless you Pay it forward
Yo, ahora , Agosto 25 / 2024, escuchando esta cancion maravillosa y romantica ❤ de mis tiempos de juventud , que no volveran, pero los puedo revivir !! Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱🥰🤗
♈️🙎♀️, Mi cancion favorita de AMBROSIA❤ Love the lyrics! " take hold of my hand " and I'll be forgiving. " then we'll both realize how foolish we've been ", ..........
I love this song when I was in high school. I remember watching it on tv on Night Tracks. I always love listening to Richard Marx. He is a good singer and a very good looking guy. I love listen to his music everyday and every night even in the evening with a slow dance and singing and holding hands and hugging your boyfriend and having a candle light dinner and drinking champagne. ❤️
Feeling mad at myself for loving 🥰 someone who never deserved me and never was open. This is the perfect song 🎶 to be healed just the background music 🎶 I don’t relate to the lyrics, but it is beautiful how we all can feel emotions of pain, joy, depression, longing for love ❤️ in music 🎶. We are all really just needing love ❤️. God Bless us all ❤❤❤❤❤
In 1978 I was 18 y,o when I thought I was in love. Lisa that's her. Then it all changed with us. Then I like this song. I can identify with, for yrs. We both married someone else & had family's & I still think of her until today. I moved to Las Vegas. 40yrs ago. She turned too and married my cousin. And I went with.. well mb later I'll tell you. 🙏🏻TY&GodBlessedJesse ☝🏼Plz pay it forward.
