Thanks everyone for your support! I appreciate you all. Get after whatever it is you want in life. You determine your future. Have a great productive week!
@@andyleo8418 A lot of people want to be RU-vidrs or pursue other side hustles. Just like any career or job finances is a really important part of it so I think it’s cool that a RU-vidr is being realistic with what their channel is earning vs some of the expenses that come with it. He doesn’t owe anyone that but he chose to share it which I thought was really cool.
RU-vid really is just about picking a niche and running with it. The niche definitely has to already have a large draw, but you can literally pick anything you want and make money on it. Most of the channels that have a lot of subscribers don't really know much about their topic that they've picked but they make the effort and that's all you really need to do. Congrats on the success. I hope you keep going.
This is literally why this is my FAVORITE RU-vid channel. Thanks for you, you’ve inspired me to get my first 4Runner, Tacoma, and now the Tundra 🙏🏻 wishing you plenty more success!
Jon - you are absolutely right. I have my own business and still had a side hustle to make extra. Its what I wanted and I did it - and I made it. I retire at the end of the year. I put my mind to it and I worked hard - Lots of nights and weekends but my wife and I will be comfortable in retirement. I have had as many as 4 Toyotas at one time.
Happy for you Bro! Been following your channel for awhile now! You were instrumental in our family deciding to go with the 23’ TRD Off-Road Sequoia! It’s been great for us and our families needs! You deserve every single dollar that you earn! Love your content and you’re always on top of everything Toyota/Lexus and have that positive vibe! This might be my favorite video so far, I truly respect you being so open and honest! Thanks again Jon! 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Awesome! Thank you! I'm glad the Sequoia is working out for you all even with some of its pros and cons. Thats awesome! Thank you so much for your support! Have a great week!
Jon, as you've seen, I always appreciate your content. As you grow as a youtuber, remember to keep your feet on the ground and humble the way you are. Keep up the good work!
Very cool of you to share how much you made on RU-vid. That’s always interesting to me. The metrics and How much videos make. I hope it keeps going well for you. That’s awesome. I saw you in oquiglys a year or so ago but didn’t want to say anything with our toddler acting out. Congrats on all the cool Toyotas
Thanks for taking the time and being transparent about what goes on here. You should do another one showing how much time and work you put into creating these. I appreciate the knowledge. As a first time Toyota owner (22 Tundra SR5) I have learned quite a bit from you. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Dude, I am in awe and admiration. You are a great inspiration and motivator! After getting back into camping, wanting a 4Runner, purchasing that truck and throughly enjoying the process and community I’m getting involved with, you are a force for good. I would love to buy you a beer someday. Take care, and keep hustling. -Chris ⛰️🚙
I always wondered how you could afford all those vehicles, I thought maybe this guy won the lottery or was sponsored by toyota to make reviews. Honestly I was a little jealous of you but now that I see how much work you put into this you have all my respect. Keep up the great work Jon, I always look forward to your videos.
Great video! As I have already mentioned a few other times you're the reason I created The Tacoma Enthusiast youtube channel. Only at 6k subs so far, but hopefully will make this youtube channel as successful as your is one day. Keep up the great content!
Been watching your videos since the beginning. Cool to see the channel grow so much as well as your cars. Keep it up! Hoping to be in a similar position one day.
Great video! Thanks for revealing all this. I think the key thing you said is “you love doing this”. That’s why you are able to continue to grind, it’s a ton of work IF you don’t enjoy it, but it does make it more rewarding when you love the niche…regardless of money.
Absolutely! Yea, if I wanted to stop this channel tomorrow I would. But I enjoy doing it. Sometimes I take on too much and it feels more like a true business, which I still enjoy, but I just love the community and the opportunities.
@TRDJon, I appreciate the transparency and education. Undoubtedly, there is a lot of work behind the camera, editing, bookkeeping, etc. If you had to assign a dollar amount to your current skill and effort what would that be? When you do something you have a passion for it’s easy to underestimate the value of your time.
First ever video of yours I have viewed...and it caught my eye simply seeing the variety of Toyota models in the SUV/Truck category. Would love to throw my hat in the ring for the Tacoma giveaway
Sir you’re awesome ; this has been truly inspirational. I also love cars and I truly enjoy your channel. The difference is I like different brands also but, I do have my eyes set on the new 4Runner coming out. I do love the passion that you have for the Toyota brand and for your channel, thanks for sharing and God Bless.
Oh man, I enjoy other cars as well. I just definitely developed a Toyota focus audience. But I do see people cross shopping other brands right now, so maybe we can do that as well on the channel to get an "unbiased" opinion of other vehicles. Thank you for the support!
Love the content Jon. Your hard work is paying off as it should. Yours is one of my favorite channels and I’ll continue to follow. I also appreciate that you try to interact as much as possible…it is noticed. Continued success! PS- I’d love a shot at the Tacoma 😬
Love that! Thank you for the support, comments, and letting me know about the Tacoma. I truly am considering it, but scared to take the leap. Which is ironic because I told people in this video just to do it...
@@TRDJon well, you said the contest would be ‘very unique.” I guess whatever the approach would determine your level of stress. Just take your time figuring it out and you’ll be good. Either way, I’d participate!
Thought I went senile for a moment and had to double check what you said about a giveaway. My dream of buying a truck got crushed with current prices. Man, I wish I could win that truck...
My grandfather said to me 55 years ago that nothing in life that is worthwhile will ever be easy or free end the only person responsible for making your life better is YOU. Good for you on being successful with utube . Anything worthwhile takes time and effort.
@TRDJon He definitely was . He helped me a lot when I was young. I founded my tree service business in 1985 and ran it until I retired in 2020 . I understand what it takes to be successful. It's not easy.
@@TRDJon Retirement is good, I am definitely keeping active ! I encourage everyone to plan as early as possible for your retirement. It comes a lot faster than you can imagine.
Ahh don't worry about us people, some of us say it to be silly some of us say it to be haters. We watch because you have great content. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Thank you for your service to our nation!!! With that alone, you deserve everything you have and I hope your wealth continues to grow!! You and your family deserve it because you have earned it!! 🇺🇦💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇦💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇦💪🇺🇸
You only get out of life what you put into it, I'm retired now, but like you, my wife and I worked very hard for everything we've got. The house is paid off, the vehicles are paid off, and now we're enjoying life. Good for you, jon, in providing great videos and lots of good information. Keep up the great work 👍 BTW, I'm glad you're keeping the 4runner. She looks sweet, not as good as my 2016 4runner trail in nautical blue, though 😅😅 take care.
Thank you for your service, I couldn't be a fighter pilot due to my education level, I am a 20 year Army Infantryman / paratrooper / Ranger disabeld veteran, love serving our country.
