Nope thats wrong to say specifically Generals. One Man order any illegal order and whole army follows it that makes them equally responsible for the crime. So I would say Army as a whole been and will involve in manipulating elections. This time they are facing a true Man who is not ready to take their orders and a true son of Pakistan is willing to die for the future of this country. I have a question. USA has traditionally had a solid grip over the Pakistani Army since the mid 1950's. However in the last decade or so China's dominance in Pakistan has overtaken USA's. So why isn't China actively involved in controlling the Pakistani army (or Government), the way it has done in several African nations?

Although religions can practice in America and can evangelize as much as they want to, the emphasis is on discussion and persuasion and can compete for followers but are not permitted to openly dictate government policy (although some still try). Religion is practiced differently in Pakistan, particularly in its rural parts where politicians are funded and placed by theocracies. This may not be as much of an issue in the cities, but many of the potential non-military leaders in Pakistan come from the poor rural areas. That is a credit to Pakistan that the poor and disadvantaged feel they can strive to become leaders in Pakistan but the values and ideals they learn as they were raised do not prepare them well to function in a world that's not dominated by their religion.
