I vote dump all the upgrades into ring of wealth forever. I understand why strategically, you might want to focus on the crossbow or scythe now that you've farmed enough, but tbh the maxed out RoW just sounds really fun to watch. Really curious to see what that will look like in the Demon Halls.
From my experience the succubus in the demon halls drop a ton of scrolls, but it is a pain to farm in there. I could try and sneak in, get the scrolls and go back to the dwarven metropolis, just have to stay below level 22 I think.
If you end up farming more and using scrolls of Metamorphosis, could you show us the changes to class specific talents? I read on the wiki that certain subclass/class specific talents are altered to work with metamorphosis, but it doesn't provide any details. I would love to see what the changes are!
With the rat skull trinket you should get lots of chaos elementals on floor 17, and I believe they drop scrolls Transmutation! I'm not finding any info on metamorph talent changes online, so any info you provide would be invaluable to the rat puncher community :)
Hello, I also need some help with ethernal chains, why do they don't work sometimes and say that there is nothing to grab when there is clearly floor there And they can even grab empty chasm and we can fall down
There are 3 upgrade scrolls in each dungeon region. All 6 of them are in his ring of wealth for now, everything else was dropped by upgraded ring of wealth
Definitely don't farm if you don't feel up for it! Feeling like I "gotta do" stuff I find boring / don't wanna do is how I get really burned out in games. It's why I haven't played any Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup since February! Same goes for crossbow + darts by the way! If you find it really annoying to keep losing darts then don't bother with em! I almost never lose darts and I really enjoy the crossbow as a result, but then I don't record commentary while playing so I have one less thing to distract me!
I agree that warden crossbow is really good, I'm just a bit tired of always chasing my darts, maybe I'll make a bunch of those magnet things that pull your range weapons back to you, that'd be fun!
