You’re an absolute legend for sharing all this extremely helpful info for free! Seriously! Just goes to show the kind of integrity you have. I will definitely be making purchases to support you and your business. Thank you for the quality content at no extra cost! You guys are awesome!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the video! Could you maybe consider making a video about the different shipping incidents / stories you have had so far? I know I would find that very interesting. What scares me the most about holding on to booster boxes is if I manage to get a buyer and ship the boxes, then they get opened in customs, get stolen etc. I work in customer service and I've had my fair share of scares from there as well!
Starting my own online shop! Just doin Ebay singles at the moment and managed to preorder a couple EN 151 boxes that I am reselling. And last night I finished designing my first boosterpacks to sell. Thanks for all the great content! It's definitely inspiring 🔥
any tips i’m a everything reseller at the minute but want to get into comics and pokémon start of next year, ie we’re to learn about pokémon etc as i was never a collector but just love pokemon i have a few graded and have just bought a massive lot off ebay, how do you make your bundles etc sorry for all the questions

I was trying to calculate how u got 1.66 per month ... i was like wait....how does 12x20..+.99 / 24= 1.66 lol broke my brain, anyway thank you for all the knowledge, I recently decided to go through with doing this same thing you are doing as ive been wanting to do this for years. Your videos are super helpful!
Here is a warning about claiming low import fees! if you send out something that is worth 5k and you claim it to be 2k if it gets lost or damage by the shipper you can not claim more than the amount you put on the value bill. In addition it remains fraud and if you ever get an inspection or use a legal accountant and you claim you bought some stuff for 2k and sold it for 10k you hang. As a business it is up to you to prove you buy stuff very cheap and sell it with a massive profit. If you truly buy 10 parcels at 2k each you must prove it with an invoice of 20k If you bought those 10 parcels for 26k because 2 of them where 5k your bookkeeping and payment statements will prove your own fraud!
I'm not all knowing. When it comes to business tactics or anything in the category most people won't teach people and beat them at the same time. It's not how they made it up the ladder. But I'm curious about this just in case I do get into things further I'd like to be legit and aware as possible of what I'm doing
I think it falls under plausible deniability. It’s the sellers that declare the valuation, not the buyer. PokeNe hasn’t done anything wrong, the sellers did. He just paid them the agreed upon amount and paid whatever import fees came in. If he never asks about it then there’s no issue.
@@ryanchatwin8535nope, if you insure something for 2k that you will net get more than 2k. If you paid too little tax on low import fees you committed fraud. You should correct it yourself you are always responsible for tax and it is obvious when you pay too little so you are respansible.
Great info, no one else is sharing this kind of information but its very eye opening and interesting to see the backend of a successful business. Thank you!
thank you so much for all the videos. I'm trying this out and all this info is very helpful. hoping one day this could grow and be sustainable, i'm sure it doesn't feel like "work"
Nice stuff, the extras really do add up lol. Can I ask how are you paying yourself? I think that would be a cool next “big” video idea. With low margin items, and all those added costs on top of the costs of the products, plus the necessity to reinvest the earnings into future product, when and where are you then paying yourself profits? And when did that actually start, because how can you reinvest all your profit into your company, while still having bills to pay.
This was an awesome and informative video! I'm one of those shmucks that has yet to transition to a full scale business but this was super helpful. Thank you!
So what happens when you want to go on vacation for like 2 weeks on a cruise or something like that? How do things keep running? Or do you shut down or have someone else run it while away? Legit curious. Now I gotta watch the business Playlist lol. Thanks for the transparency.
Thanks so much for the great video, you’re absolutely amazing! I’m from the Netherlands and might start a business here😮! I’m wondering, do you primarily sell to NE and neighbouring states or all over the USA, shipping fees might be high across the country? Don’t you mind all the extra competition you might be creating with your videos? And lastly, since you’re already so transparent with your numbers; what are the average margins on products, I’ve done some calculations and came up with ~5%ish? Thanks in advance!!
Where do you get your pictures for the product on your website? I feel like it would take forever for someone who sells singles to edit all those images
That's a lot of things always forget when they try to do any business and I know I did too. The operation costs and supplies for any business will wreck businesses if you don't budget that wisely. Even when I buy stuff online I reuse as much shipping supplies that is salvageable.
it’s so funny when u described my basement with the two 40$ shelves from walmart and how i cut labels out of my printer u had me dead but i’m hoping to grow to that level one day!
Love the series I learned a lot I started selling on facebook marketplace it’s all profit from there for me. I was wondering what are the profit margins from selling online from all the shipping and packaging fees? You don’t really have a in-depth video on that.
Super excited. I bought a vstar 151 and black flame box to test out the product, I wanted to see legit box's so when I try to order from Japan I know what it looks like
Thanks Brian for providing an overview of your numbers. 👍 In terms of your collectible insurance, how do you backup/proof on your overall inventory? Do you take photos of your stock inventory; for sales and investments or do you go by your invoices? Also, since the entire business is out of the lowest part of your house, is there flood and humidity contingencies in place? YT algorithm ~~~} ❤
$20/m FOR A DOMAIN? That should only be costing you $20 a year my friend. Unless you meant a "website" in which case, that's different and 20 per month is pretty standard for a basic web setup.
one of my biggest questions is how to get suppliers that are trustworthy and are willing to work with someone new getting into it like me? thanks :) great video
@@pokene_pokemon Awesome!! Thank u. Btw i an really jealous on how low the amount of inport fees are in the US. Here in The Netherlands it is about 21%. But in exchange for that i dont really need to pay sales tax i think is what its called in the US. Since i already payed that to customs.
It’s been a while but If you type in “heavy duty 5 tier shelf” they’re all pretty much the same- should be $250-$300 and if they have less than 4 stars, don’t buy
About the import fees and devalueing whats being exported. Most Japanese Suppliers have all ceased doing that, as it is against the law and will be severely punished if caught by the Japanese Autorithies. My suppliers have all stopped devalueing their shipments.
🚀🚀🚀 also not sure if you watched till the end but I shouted out you and Mason for creating equally real content. Hopefully my overwhelming levels of influence and power gained you a subscriber
Quick question. If you make your purchases with a business credit card that has no international fees, do you need that middle man? As always, love the content. Incredibly helpful!
I m not a lawyer yet but i m a law student in europe. I m pretty sure if a parcel reaches you with an underdeclared value and you dont notify tax authoritys you are technically commiting a tax crime. Idk how the US handles this but you should talk to your accountant and or lawyer. If it s legal i m moving to the US lol. I just collect cards i never sell them but i pay about 300€ (20%(+5%)) in Importtaxes alone each month.
Not sure of the question here but he pays the taxes when purchasing products from distributors or online.. like ebay auto takes out the tax fee for us in USA.. then can write off as business expenses I think.. I'm not a tax expert lol
@@russell4781 If you import goods from a country outside the US you also have to pay importtaxes if the amount is above 2k. I guess it might be different depending on the state you live in etc. Here in europe you have to pay ~20%(18-25% depending where you are from) taxes on everything +5% (duty tax/zoll) on top of the value + taxes so its more than 5% and there are no write offs. It just counts as expense. If you underdeclare a parcel you obv save a lot of money but ofc its highly illegal and fines are obv rly high.
@@ericstockman662 why would i want to do that? I just wanted to learn and or warn him. I m just too lazy to study everything so i thought someone in the comments may be smarter and explain american customs to me.
You take it in the ass, yell about it to your wife, complain about on social media and punch a few pillows. All you can do typically - it’s nearly impossible to win
It’s a bit overpriced and not great for bulk in my opinion - but it seems safe and I haven’t heard any complaints. We offer some bulk discounts on certain sets, free free to look around at PokeNE.com and email me Brian@pokene.com if you need over 10 boxes of anything 👌
I know you're obviously doing it, and successfully so but I honestly doubt the professional email thing. Keep going strong though! Love to see the process as it's gonna be a tremendous help for me and anyone trying to do the same thing!
Yo! This is amazing. Been watching you videos for the past couple of weeks now and you are by far the most honest channel I've ever come across. Honestly refreshing. I had a question for you. As far as RipnShip goes, what is your opinion on doing Rip Till You Hit, is it profitable? What about having free shipping on tiktok streams. How does that work? I know nothing is truly free. 😃
Informative, but really hate your condescending tone "some schmuck flipping packs from Walmart". Unless you were born into money you had to start somewhere.
Just a character lol- it’s my brand as a business youtuber - opposite of the “motivational BS” you get from the other channels that don’t really care if you make it or not

Your mentality in life is pitiful. Watch our early videos when we started from scratch. You might need a “daddy” to have a chance at success but not everyone else does. Step one would be stepping away from RU-vid and actually putting your mind to something productive. Uninspired Swine.
