Hi, what a misleading title "How Much Magic Find Do You Need?" for this. Why not just name this video plain and simple "Every Farming Strat In Diablo 2 Ressurected" ? The reason I say this is because you didn't even mentioned once how much magic find does one character needs...
@@MacroBioBoi You should rewatch your video, since you posted this quite some time ago, and then you will realize what I mean when I say "How Much Magic Find Do You Need?" is missleading - meaning it is mentioned in the title, but it isn't explained in the content of your video. As an fix for Cold Blizzard sorceress you can read the below example: Case 1: MF geared Cold Blizzard Sorceress early game 100-200 MF mid game 200-300 MF late game 300-400 MF Case 2: DPS geared sorceress early/mid/late game 100 MF etc. Do you understand now after reading above example for blizzard sorceress what I mean? Everyone which reads "How much Magic Find do you need?" actually expects to see some numbers, not only some farming strats. Reading something and getting something else is the definition of missleading.
@@qaerkyr Saying a particular Magic Find value is completely pointless and does not educate or actually accomplish anything. Im showing how to consider and prioritize Magic Find based on the farming strategy you want to employ. Im sorry you personally did not get some info you wanted but I disagree with the characterization of my actions.
@@MacroBioBoi You are missing the entire point. The problem is not the importance of saying the MF value (because it is usefull to know how much MF you can stack on different builds to be efficient when playing Pn runs in certain areas. Even if you have issues of with accepting other people opinions, issues that prevents you to grow as a human being. Accepting mistakes, learn from them and become better - that is what it means to grow. You just got defensive and feel insulted because I raised a flag with a missleading video title that you posted, and you are under false impression that there isn't a person that knows diablo 2 better than you. All players that have MF builds are actually interested to know they cannot dumbly stack MF when that will result much lower farming speed than having half of MF. and then to know what is the gear and actually max MF they can use for having an efficient MF character), The problem is that what your video claims to do something that it doesn't do. Every logical person that reads "How much magic find do you need?" will expect to see the actual values. "How Much Magic Find" is quantified by actual values and not by farming strats! Now if the title were "Do you need magic find to farm efficiently? Every farming strat..." then there will be no problem because in this example the title doesn't claim to offer an answer to the actual value of MF". Maybe you should ask some other people about the meaning of "How much magic find do you need?", see what will they answer. It means nothing or it means that the video should give MF values. Or better yet just remove completely the first question, becuase that is what is presented in your video - every farming strat - and nothing else.
One of the best strategies to build wealth while building wealth (say, you're farming travincal for HRs) is to >>save up all your jewels, low runes and gems
14K Hammers, Max Resists,125% Fcr, 86% Fhr Breakpoints with 320 MF (at lvl 99, 334%MF maxed with a +2 All // 10% FCR// 35%MF Ammy) and 20 open spots in inventory for Hcube and what I find, is my build. I like TZs, 8ppl Solo Chaos and rushing for just the drops.
The first time I ran in to d clone I was a new nec summoner.. I got owned so bad LOL But I literally had 1 non shop gear item on. TY so much for the gem shrine section as I did not know stony was a good spot. I always carry a flawless. Public hoorking ! sounds like me at the bar. I thought quest drops have to be kill'd by player that needs quest not the rusher !? Good to know.
Sooo comprehensive and deep-diving, I absolutely love your content! Just a little clarification about the gem shrine, though: it's my understanding that it will either give you the chipped version if poped without gems in your inventory, or UPGRADE the existing one to the next level, i.e: chipped --> flawed etc, and doesn't just upgrade to perfect no matter the version of the gem you have in the inventory. Am I wrong?
My dude said "You might be using +skill IAS javs, cuz you haven't found titans". Bro 4/40's...5/40's...6/40's are best in slot javs in the game. Especially that it helps you hit the 95 ias BP.
"everyone has an Anni" such a softcore player thing to say... At least according to my experience this ladder. I dunno maybe I am just not online enough
Well multiple HC anni walks have been coordinated on Discords and on Reddit. I'm pretty sure the first one was within 1 week of the first SC wall. But also, don't be a weird HC elitest and try to condemn my statement if you're not even sure it's wrong. That'd be great for me.
My bad came out more rude and disrespectful than intended. Just jealous. Not elite just still broke and unable to easily discard this as something I know longer need to worry about trying to acquire. If only I just had one for every character.
@@MrSuxor thanks fam. It's very weird thinking about Annie's as a common commodity but that definitely does come from being plugged in on discord and Reddit, so still third party means to acquire in game items.
@@MacroBioBoi can you share these discords? I saw a jsp attempt fail miserably I figured either hardcore has way fewer people or they are all way too unwilling to part with a soj when they found one. Maybe both? Maybe a video idea? Get connected with communities?
Here's the complete breakdown of every farming strategy in Diablo 2. Whether you're a density clearing beast, or a super efficient Pit Berserker, your strategy and everything that defines it is explained in this video. I try to include Examples and gameplay footage for each relevant type, and break down the strengths of each strategy so you can get a better idea of why your build does what it does!
This video series is great man. A lot of us play casually and it would be a lot of effort to go read up on the endless threads and websites. It's nice to know I can just come back to your channel anytime I want to learn more about the game 👍
Gotta say - the quality of your D2 videos is phenomenal. I subscribed and find them SUPER informative and offer real great insights (loved the sorc/merc combo video and the budget mav's one). Would you outline a budget build (~1 ist worth of gear) for each class and where they should farm IF it were your first ladder char? Im looking to start ladder (and do most of the farming) with more exotic builds.
That mighty kind of you to say. I've done a lot of budget builds walking into Patch 2.4 that you can check out. I think they mostly hold up. But I can add this to the list of possible video ideas.
and EVERYTHING in this guide is dependant one ONE item that cost MORE than any other item in the game.....ENIGMA. you cant do SHIT in this game without it, and good luck farming those Ber runes and still having a life
so skeles arnt around every corner and you don't need a pole arm for groups because of double swing maybe find something like a boss like a person who would think that would work..... o you have to get worllwind.... no this is horrable your at the end of the game why would you want armo...r....... not having any diamonds at all taking our 20% chance to hit further for the assassin and druid stuff droping making all gear and gameplay excessive your magic find might be cool but maybe im lvl 12 and don't have a ilvl for gold find so if you could get off the towel on the roof of somethng thats about graphics for polearms and being the only rpg online in defined mode im not that good at that mode but i do try do you..
Here are some good mf bosses ... Battlemaid Sarina - Ruined temple in Kurast Bazaar Bremm Sparkfist- Durance of hate level 3 IceHawk Riftwing - 1st level of Kurast Sewers - by hatch leading to second level Maffer Dragonhand- Durance of hate level 3 Mephisto - Durance of hate level 3 Torc Icefist- Travincal Witch Doctor Endugu - Flayer Dungeon - level 3 Wyand Voidfinger - Durance of Hate level 3 Geleb Flamefinger- Travincal
Given that this is described as a guide for new players, this video would benefit from actually explaining a lot of the concepts you talk about. I played many hundreds of hours of Diablo 2 years ago, but I still couldn't follow some of what you were talking about, like seal popping. If the goal is to teach people what these farming methods are, you really need go through the actually mechanics and explain how and why to do them.
@@MacroBioBoi Fair enough. Maybe I was a bit harsh, but I think a quick description goes a long way. Either way, I've enjoyed your Diablo content and hope you keep it up!
I am usually playing SP - so Enigma is hard to put together . I keep a teleport circlet in my shared stash and just tele to town when I need to equip it . A good example is the last seal in chaos sanctuary ... where those pesky venom lords just go psycho on you after you pop the seal . A bowazon really needs to tele out of there and come in from the other way to have a chance . LoL !
I have all kinds of lists of treasure classes and monster levels / location levels etc. and now I can't even play for long because my arm starts this carpal tunnel system type crap . Been thinking about playing on the switch to see if that might help ?
@@MacroBioBoi I didn't even think of trying that - I just saw another creator playing on switch so I thought of that . I will have to try your idea - thanks !!
I got a wrist wrest for my keyboard, and i use an fps oriented mouse instead of an MMO one with many buttons; I find fps mice to be more anatomically correct. I try to keep my repetitive skills on my mouse buttons.
Honestly bro, so glad I found your channel, I play alot of hc ladder ( this season im revising my foh auradin build, thank you for the other nice videos). Sometimes lama and the others are so long winded and don't have alot of the gritty content I need! You provide an awesome source of info and don't take all my time while doing it.
about gem shrine farming, i keep hearing Stoney field is best place to find them but ive had alot more luck in single player at least with black marsh. was saving up for crafting and had alot of flawless and the runes but had a big way to go for perfect gems so was doing runs where id hit eldritch and Shenk then lower Kurrast then teleport around all the act 1 areas up to black marsh and if not having much luck with shrines id go back to nm to reset the hell map, early on i might find 1 or 2 gem shrines in Stoney in the first 10-20 runs next hundred runs id find 0 there but would find one or more every 10 runs or so in black marsh with not much luck in any of the other areas, even had 2 different maps with all the black marsh shrine very close together next to the wp where i was getting shrines frequently and sometimes 2 per game. and with all the resets i tried Stoney field id maybe find 1 or 2 early and then they just dry up and wont spawn there till i did another reset. after awhile on those maps id just foget the other areas and only check black marsh. also since i was doing eldritch and shenk, often there is a shrien either just above eldritch or to the side of shenk so dont forget to check those if 1 is always spawning there, since they are quick and easy bosses i figured id get some MFing in along with chest and shrine farming. aside from that, for countess i think sometimes her drops are set a certain way like if she drops 1 rune maybe another will drop with it, ive gotten several Ist runes from her and if i remember right i think every time she has also dropped Um along with it sometimes just those 2 sometimes another lower 1 with it like Eld or ith. also i felt very lucky when she dropped me a Lo rune knowing it was highest she could drop from monster drop and it wasnt from her special rune drop table. mainly these were key hunting on higher players not on players 1 for better rune drops. as for Lower Kurrast, depends on the speed you want to go but maybe dont skimp on the other chests and stashes in the area, ive found Ohm and Sur and Vex from the super chests, but the only Ber ive found came from the non super chest random stash boxes there, same game i found an Ist from another random stash box.
Thanks for the guide! Was looking at some of your builds on maxroll the other day, how important is the griffons for a foh pally? I have pretty much every piece for the build on ladder except griffons, running him as hammers but wanted to respec
Dang I learned nothing here but by far the most top tier video ever made for d2. My fav Ima share it with my vets n experts it's just epic content no one can talk down on you with this ggvid in ur profile
Terror zones are not a different farming strategy. Depending o. Your build and the area you either density clear or elite snipe. Nothing is the best farming strategy overall, it depends on what you're going for. They are great for density clearing and boss killing.
Fantastic Umbrella Guide Mac. I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos in this series. After your showcase of Bone Ash for a Shako I'm wondering if there aren't other slept-on Supers for target gear.
Fire Eye is an easy to get to target that is level 81 I believe. Take the WP to arcane sanctuary then the portal to the palace cellar and he is always there. He can drop up to cham and TC78. Could probably add that into any super unique farming run and only add like 10 to 15 seconds.
@@danielgloyd4529 Stormtree may be in a good spot as well, he is always SW of the LK WP and is TC78 and lvl 83. Fire Eye is TC78 and 81. also of note is they are both TC 51 in nightmare which is War Travs, Occy and HOZ. Thresh Socket is also semi-static but probably a little further run for TC87 and lvl 84. Him and Pindle seem to be a good Vmagi farm in normal, though at that point it might be worth just doing NM Andi.
@@bobnewkirk7003 Thresh Socket is awesome for SP. Not sure with the map randomness on Bnet if it would be worth it, sometimes the WP is pretty far from the cave entrance. Nice tip about the Stormtree too, that one didn't even cross my mind.
