Really interesting insight into why you started a lemon farm and the different varieties you have. I love finger limes, bloody delicious. Keep up the good work, and good luck.

Hi I know nothing about growing produce in Thailand, it seems a good idea to try things that are in demand and not too many people doing the same thing.

Do you have ‘citrus gall wasp’ in Thailand? In Perth Australia it is so hard to avoid in our citrus trees. I’m on my last lime tree and I had to trim the galls off this week that I found.

Thankfully not. The major pests seem to be caterpillars eating the leaves. Nice to see you again Fiona. 🍋🍋🍋🍋

When I come back to Thailand. I would like to buy a few lemon trees for my wife to grow. Do you have any of the non varigated lemon trees for sale?

Why keeping them in pot, it's like bonsai they will not grown like normal ? they will be better in full soil
@lemonfarmthailand
@lemonfarmthailand Месяц назад
Good Question. The ones' you saw in the video are for sale to cafe's, restaurants and outside bars. They prefer them that way and are as stated in the video, they are more ornemental and show for aesthetics than for produce reasons. Another reason why they are initially grown in the pots is to give the a better start and once they reach flowering, they are then transplanted into the ground on the farm into larger concrete pots which allow the roots to go down into the ground. This also helps with grass born pests that can cause a young sapling disease as you can control weeding better and also the feeding. They will still grow to 4-5 meters in the pots and as such many orchards favour them rather than ground planting. Hope that helps. 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

I was just starting to like your channel and then you turned me off by disrepecting and dishonoring your wife. You let your ego cause her to lose face. Whatever has caused you to be so hard and bitter in life let it go. Your wife did not deserve what you did to her. I suggest you take this video down to start the process of allowing her to regain face. I further suggest you realize which country you are in and learn its culture. One last suggestion. Study the ways of the Buddha and change your life which will improve the life of your wife and others who come in contact with you. After all you are in Thailand where probably 95% of the population follows Buddhism. It why Thailand is called the land of smiles. Learn to smile and respect your wife.

I really have no idea what you are talking about and nor does my wife. You claim many things in your diatribe and yet give no examples. I have been married to my wife for over 12 years now and I have no doubt she would be more than happy to tell me if I have said or done something wrong. Thanks as always for the comment, it certainly gave me a smile. 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

@@lemonfarmthailand at ~ 13:15 you took great glee in saying "everytime I let her do her thing"we never made money." You shamed her. You essentially told the audience how smart you are and how stupid her ideas have been. That does not happen in relationships where the husband sees the wife as an equal. In those types of relationships each partner views the other as an equal and they work to honor each other, not tear the other partner down. It's your life and your channel. Good luck.

You think too much. I said the truth. Nothing shameful in honesty and if the truth hurts you, I suggest you move on to another channel that fits within your wishy washy world. No harm in telling everyone about our failures, one never learns unless you fail in life.

@AstroVagabond. I honestly appreciate the honesty in the video. There are many foreigners who come out here and lose everything by farming the "usual" crops. All Dave did was speak the truth. I also doubt his wife lost any face as she also stated quite clearly herself, not to grow things that lose money and to think differently. That to me is good advice. Dave is constantly saying what a great job his wife is doing. Chill out and give them a break man.
