I live in north central pennsylvania and make $120 per hour as an hourly CRNA w2. It comes out to base $250k per year, 10k sign on bonus (30k paid out in 10k installments over 3 years) and some overtime built in. I will comfortably make 270k this year and could make probably clear 300 pretty easy if I were to work a couple more hours every week consistently.

@@DavidWarrenNP Nice to meet you. You know how some people get 'the grass is greener on the other side' syndrome? Most of the time it's not actually better, but going from SRNA to CRNA is 100% better in every capacity. The money, the freedom, the ability to practice. Hands down better in every way. I kind of hated being an SRNA. I've been following your progress for a couple of months. Glad you're doing well. The hospital and group out here is great. You wanna check it out let me know.

Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in a twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you are no longer accumulating but withdrawing its hard to be anything but cautious.

The biggest mistake you can make when investing is to think that you are smarter than the market. It’s almost impossible to time the consistently, you will miss out on great opportunities if you do this, simply DCA into high conviction stocks and let your position grow........

In Texas with no state tax single you'll bring home 480k so a third of that year will go straight to uncle sam, I'm assuming you're single because no partner will accept you working every day for the entire year

California is terrible don’t show those salaries or New York. You pay like 70% of your check in taxes those places, not even mentioning the cost of living. Plus with the crime rate and polices forget about it.
