I have started. I'm working on paying off debt, BUT! I bought a house in February and property taxes are due. So, I will be emptying out all challenges and funds to pay and start all over. The thing is, if I wasn't saving I would be up a creek right now. I thank God I'm able to pay. Thank you for all your encouragement! ❤
🎉Great job & very encouraging! ❤I had a major set back in Mar-Apr, so I had to start over. But I’m at $900 so far with savings challenges. You’re so right in that it all adds up!
I've been saving for my student loans since October 2023. My monthly payment is $0, so I've been having my second job paycheck direct deposit into a HYSA. Back in May I started contributing a little more with my main job. I don't make a whole lot of money but budgeting and saving makes a difference, also living below your means and getting rid of unnecessary bills. My student loan is $32.888.52, and I have $9,352.27 to go.
I just subscribed this past week and you encouraged me to get back on track with my savings. I used to be horrible at saving and it would give me anxiety for some reason. Now I enjoy saving and it makes me so proud! My problem is I have grown children with children and when they are in need, its hard to say no. I dont want them to go without food or shelter but I have to say no because they've got to learn how to save and budget themselves. I feel good to help but it saddens me when my money dwindles and I have to start over again. Pray my strength! Lol
I was doing the 52 weeks saving challenge. I spent the money but I am doubling up to replace the 1st six months! Thanks for sharing and the encouragement 🎉😂❤!
I remember finding your channel during the pandemic, watching your ups and downs and you have came a long way! I would sometimes go back and watch your home work series to keep me motivated keep it up bestie🎉❤
Ever thought about switching out small bills for big bills. Like next time you go to the bank, only cash out $100s and switch out all you small bills in those savings envelopes It will make your binder lighter and easy to count on count days. That's what I do
As a stay at home mom. I have $2,700 in savings $125 for my buffer I have short term goals I'm doing each month While a long term goal due December 31st. It's hard with the husband laid off.
This is awesome!! I started watching you're channel this year and I'm so motivated and making baby steps to pay off debt and try to save. I really need some side hustle money so I can move faster and bigger. I have watched some of your older videos to include your first video of counting up all the money you saved. So encouraging. I'm working on a 1,000 savings challenge to make it my first emergency fund. And trying to save for Christmas. I'm a single mom too. ❤🎉
Thank you for that encouragement I started than stop started than stopped each time using the money saved telling myself I can start again. This time I’m serious August 1st I’m starting and there is no stopping I know some months I will be able to save more but as long as I’m able to save. Like you said every penny saved counts. I was feel discouraged because watching RU-vid I’m like people are saving and cash stuffing thousands. I don’t have that kind of money because I’m trying to pay off debt as well.
I’ve started being serious with my budget this month and I’ve already had a huge unexpected expense which really knocked the wind out my sails. I’ve been watching you for a while and I’ve learned so much that I’m not ready to apply ❤
I have just started saving small amounts and trying to start budgeting again and paying off debt. I tend to start but quickly get sidetracked and spend the little money I have in a very unplanned way 😅Found your channel not long ago but soo happy I did as I love your videos! Keep them coming 🤩 Lots of 💗
Congrats! I have had to touch all my savings but I won’t say I wasn’t proud I had it. I’m hoping to start back up saving in September or October. Thanks so much for your inspiration!
That's wonderful!!!! 🥰❤️Can you hear me cheering for you all the way over here on the east coast??!!!🎉 Can't wait to see where you are at the end of the year!!!
I have been so busy paying debt down this past 14 months that I have saved only $150 because I’m putting everything to debt but I’ve changed my strategy as of this month. CC interest had me in a chokehold so I didn’t want to but I consolidated my debt and it saved me $150 a month so I will be saving the $150 I would have paid in interest and also paying down the loan which should be done in 2026 but I’m aiming to payoff December 2025.
Amazing job on the over $4,000 savings!!! You should really put the money in the bank and put it in a high interest savings account or apply it to your debt. If anyone broke into your home or you had a fire in your house, you will be out that cash.
For things like saving, that you will not need to access very often, why don't you put it in high yield savings account? If you have money, let it make money for you!! I understand spending cash for everyday things, but this could help you save even more. Congrats btw🎉🎉
I saved $551 last month toward in savings challenges but today I ended my June savings challenges and I am putting $491 towards a debt payment on top of putting the rest of that money the other 550 sinking funds
Yessss🎉🎉Go Bestie! Go Bestie! Go! It's funny I came across this video right when I get on YT! I wasn't going to add anything to my saving bc $$ has been funny due to a car accident I was in but like you said even the smallest amounts count so Im about to go see what I can add in my books and pray over them bc I know God will replenish and overflow them real soon so I won't complain or worry💯🩷
I try to start but if I make a mistake I give up immediately. I saw your other video in which you said accept your mistake, adjust your plan, learn from it and move on, don't give up. 🥰
