I considered bartending but make way more as a licensed massage therapist. I paid for the program and started. It was not for me. Both careers are personality specific. I'm much more of a healer than a bartender. Although, the bartender ALSO heals us in a different way. 🤗
You definitely should make good money at a cocktail bar! You could always work at Hooters as well on the side maybe 2 days out of the week just for some extra money!

So question! I know bartenders tend to work 10-12hr shifts . Are you working those shift within 4 days to make 40 hrs a week? Are do you still have to work all five days regardless of exceeding the 40 hours a week parameters
It would depend on the place. Usually 4 days would be the norm if you’re working 10-12 hours a shift. But again, it depends on the place. If they’re understaffed, they may need you for 5 days
I bartend at Dave n Busters but have been tending for over 5 years. Definitely recommend being a bartender, high volume crowds can get quite intense but it’s worth it once you push through.
That doesn’t include the credit card tips and that probably only the amount she what’s the IRS to see. Also that could be tax free earnings after the next election. I would bet she would not be happy if they passed a living wage law in her state.
I haven’t been hired yet but i was going around asking friends and just places i be going to if they are looking to train some people and luckily i got the owner of the place to set me up with a interview and that they would train me .I’ll be practicing at home at the moment lmao just so i don’t go in not being able to do anything.
Hey! I did not go to bartending school. Honestly, I taught myself from just watching the bartenders at my store. + it was a little easier for me to become a bartender because my first bartender job was at the same place where I served.
Lol! Yesss sis go! & you would just need a license to serve alcohol, however this is the same license that is required when you work as a server/waitress in any restaurant that sells alcohol. But no other license is necessary to become a bartender
