Add another former American that now lives in Ghana. Wow y'all are making me change my mind about Ghana. I was so to relocate to South Africa however a lot of people that have relocated to Ghana. Is proving to me, I will be giving Ghana a chance to claim me as a future reaident. I am visiting some friends in October and now I'm super excited. Got to save some more to officially leave the USA for good but I think I will be ready in early 2024. Thank you for sharing, this was amazing to watch and see. ❤
Dear Ama, It is always such a joy watching your videos. With your down to earth personality and way of thinking - is so unique and unusual especially as an African Blogger. Always love seeing the natural scenery and hustle and bustle in Ghana. Being originally from a neighbouring country (dare i name the country!)- it is disheartening to see how different both countries are - with regards to security instability. Seeing you being so carefree and relaxed running your errands without having to look over your shoulders most of the time. This is always the case for most of us living abroad - who visit our country. It could understandably even explain why you haven’t done a tour of my country - as it just isn’t safe. Love what you are doing - beautiful inside and out ❤
Heck , consider I live in America and average rent here is $1000 to $1500/ month, I kinda find even nice used cars in Ghana are on average cheaper than the US
So I watched this video about 3 hours ago and I must mention how timely it is for me. I am travelling to Accra in August to stay for 3 months and I now have a general idea of what to expect for the expenditure. I came across your YT channel just 4 days ago and I have since watched at least 7 videos. Not only are your contents educative, you exude a great sense of naturality and uniqueness. Please keep it up. Can I count on you when I visit to help me settle in? I have many friends discouraging me cause some of them have been scammed. I will really love to meet with you.
I have texted Jasmine several times and have even lived in Ghana. I was there just recently and two years ago. Miss Jasmine did not reply to my request to meet her. I am an American and have lived in several African countries. I will be living in Ethiopia starting next month. Of all the African nations Ethiopia has never been colonized. We are a proud people. I strongly identify with them and my mission is there.

Well, Indeed a concise video encompassing the whole process from the best flights, what to expect in the airport, what official agencies we should become familiar with upon arrival, where are healthstores, what to do if your a family that doesn’t vaccinate, where to go/ contact to establish a business, where to go/contact to find builders, best places to stay or who to contact if you only want to live there for 3-6 months at first, how to obtain a car and license, pet policies. It would be amazing if you can really make videos and meet with the people who handle these matters and get this info!

Wow!! Not bad. Some say Ghana is expensive...guess it depends on perspective & income. $1,800 a month RENT for 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment plus utilities are separate here in USA for me. Not to mention all the other STUFF needed to survive & for leisure. I really need to move to Ghana. I could literally live like a RICH ASHANTI QUEEN. Thanks for the video. ❤️ 💙 💜
Thank you for mentioning perspective and income. The problem with people is hasty generalisation. When they see a RU-vidr review a $200,000 home in Ghana, eg, they immediately assume that's how much everyone has to raise to own a home, when people are building homes for $20,000 and all. Perspective, perspective, perspective. You see the $200 Jasmine is paying for rent? A lot of us pay even less for two bedrooms. Of course, the more you pay the better the condition of the place and the location. Then on income, I just told someone on this same video that if you're relocating for good and you can continue to make even half of the income you make in the West, you should be okay. The problem often stems from people relocating and living on their savings, with next to no more income coming in. You'd surely run into financial issues a few years down the line.
I am not African and I do not plan to visit Africa anytime soon but I am interested in African culture .This vlogger is really nice and interesting and I have enjoyed her videos .

Gas is very expensive. I commute 60mins a day and I drive a SUV and I pay less than that for gas in the US weekly! To put this in context what does a average Ghanaian earn monthly . For example a school teacher , Principal , Pharmacists , Mechanic .You earn money in dollars so you cannot use yourself as the standard . My niece in Nigeria who graduated from university as an accountant makes the equivalent of $50 / month in cedies that 570 cedis! Have you done a video on average earnings ? People will bring up side gigs , those are not guaranteed. The inflation in Africa is astronomical compared to how much people make, how do they survive!
That's right - Spot on she lived in Australia in the past. Perhaps she gets some side- kicks from there too to spread it Ghana. I don't know much google pays them for podcasting.

@@mskimjackson1 depends on how much you love your car let me guess yo American so if you're in American cars then ship it but do some ground research in Ghana if there body shops that have American car spare parts or I would advice you buy Japanese cars ,they do well in Africa coz spare parts are every where
