I started pulling copper out of alternators/motors because the good prices on copper and learned it was worth the time! Just took a while for me to get right tools to do it. But it is worth it!!
The people who complain about losing money or saying scrapping doesn't pay are either doing it completely wrong or just talking out of their ass. When I scrap full time, I make a shit load more than any job I've ever had that pays 20+ dollars an hour. I was averaging 150 on a slow day and anywhere from 300 to 900 on a busy day. Most of my days were very busy because i did it right and put out free ads about my scrap metal pickup service. Haters are always going to hate. Continue to gain weight and pop zits in your mothers basements, you anime loving losers. The adults have no problems making money.
Its cause you dont have clean metal, they gave you the DIRTY METAL price, because you need to separate what is aluminum from steel from copper, etc, ex: take steel bolts off of aluminum fender, and/or separate alternator copper from steel housing, etc, once you have it divided up you can get lots lots lots more for the cost of each individual metal per lb.
It takes a bit of research, RU-vid,and time to learn when we throw money out like this… plus the yard we go to determines a lot because some don’t give a flying F, and some will help you and educate you how to boost your earnings!!
Is there a website where we can go look at everyday precious metals prices? I heard they change almost daily, Has anyone ever waited on copper to price peak before cashing in your scrap??
@@proppaflex9360 I have about a 40" containet of mostly very heavy steel old machinery and motors. Would you be interested to purchase? And what approximate price for heavy solid steel?
