You should buy yourself a cheap get around town car that gets great gas mileage for everyday driving. Save the Porsche for special events and weekends.
The most fuel efficient spot in a 911 is around 1800 to 2000 rpm. That's where you can get it down to about 7 litres/100km. That's very reasonable for a 400+ BHP motor. If you like revving it up all the time consumption doubles.
Surprising a car has that much of a fuel tank to take that much. What is your typical driving range on a full tank? Every time fuel hits national averages of $4 then all the trucks/suvs are put out with 'for sale' signs on them and people scramble to find fuel efficient small cars -- since you notice that it can be over $100 to fill up. Commuting SUV/truck drivers fill their tank once to even twice a week and over a month that adds up to a car payment.
Yea I peeped that you got 19.1 gallons so I’m guessing your tank holds 20 or 21 gallons @4.95/ gal Tip: fill up at about 1/2 or a quarter so that you can choose a place you know and feel safe about going to alone to buy gas. Not just any station because you’re down to the last drop. It’s a safety issue.
Well dear, we pay close to 6,50$/gal here in Montréal for 91 octane. Your new Porsche has a 16.9 US Gal tank. So it would be about 110$ fill up about the same at Cali. Should have bought the Tycan Turbo S. At fast charger with 350 KW charging rates that would be about 20-30$ so about much less. The moral of the story is... if you buy an elephant, you can't complain about how much it eats and poops : )) Also, you always leave home with a full charge... full battery plugged into a level 2 charger at home and that costs little or free?
@Nedd Flanders I have been studying the electrification mouvement, BEV's and investing in TSLA and have made millions doing so. Electric cars are better en every metric. The only issue would be for a non tesla car to get charged when traveling off main routes. Otherwise your argument is mute. The only thing that I will miss when I switch from my Ford Focus RS to Tesla Model 3 performance or the Tesla Roadster 2.0 is the sound of induction and having a gear lever and a clutch to take part of the driving experience. But the Roadster 2.0 will offer about 600 miles of range abd a 0-60 time of about 1 second with the SpaceX package so... just better in ever way and for 200,000 USD more bang for the buck than any ICE car, ever.
No the moral of the story was thank Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau for their left leaning policies that shutdown the pipeline and made us all reliant on OPEC again. Exactly a little over a year ago when Trump was in office the gas prices were half as much as they are now. Same tank would be $55 a year ago.
@@12B4Christ Actually, yes. Sports cars require premium gas. A hooptie can run on regular. Why do you keep assuming people voted a certain way? Do you see a leftist behind every rock? Please don't tell people you're a "conservative" - I am one, and I don't want to be associated with idiots.
No matter how fancy the car, the right to travel UNHINDERED is basic and inalienable. Gouging the price of gas is a war crime. They’re hindering free travel outright.
I have a modified mustang with a 22.5 gallon tank. It requires premium and it cost me like $90 to fill. I have a Dodge ram truck with a 26 gallon tank that takes regular, that's like $80. I have a BJs membership that takes 10 cents off per gallon. Maybe a Sam's, BJ's, Costco membership is in order Melli
They made the gas tank huge in luxury cars so you don't have to fill up often. If you go to Costco and get it from the same brand all the time it will run very well plus their price is like 4.15 a gallon and you get 4% cashback with their Citi credit card, it is the best credit card out there right now. They have an attendant at all times, cameras and you're with other luxury cars and like minded people, rather than being at the corner gas station where people are buying snacks and cigarettes. You're also putting 91 octane in it instead of 93. That's really weird that you are able to put 19.1 gallons in there and its not the Porsche SUV. I thought that car had a 13 gallon tank. What year is that? And yeah you can't complain about gas prices, it cost to be a BAUSS.
First of all the cheapest gas is at Costco. #2: wait until you find out how much service is at the dealer. $$$$ Next time buy a nice BMW with the B58 engine.
✨😆😂🤣😭🤣😂😆✨ put 100k into tha commodity gas... tha interest per month handles that beautiful... enjoy... yooou got it... itz allll goood... ✨😆😂🤣😭🤣😂😆✨ III
Just stunning 🤩😍🥰 watched a lot of her videos and never knew she did music to. Would love to meet her one day and I think I will (positive thinking😂)I love good people 💯. Never had a celebrity/entertainer/blogger etc…. crush this is #1😊🥰😍. Aww man Melli that baby baby. Nothing but respect 💯
Side note: Lol damn I used quite a few emojis in the comment or maybe 🤔 not enough 🤷🏾♂️😅. 🤣They keep popping up ⬆️ 🆙. Sorry got sidetracked, #melli💪🏾👑
Maybe you should tune it.APR make a good performance tune for it with a lot more power or a e85 tune with even more power. and its cheaper than petrol. Your local race track should have track day for a bit of fun with other people or do some lessons if that's what your in to
It’s a good idea to make a video of filling up when you’re alone in such an expensive vehicle - I like the idea of getting an additional car just for getting around town but that might not work in CALIFORNIA since most of the time you’re on a highway - but a tiny smart electric car for short trips would save you money - prices are still going up & up 😬
Hey.. its very important you keep a decent amount of gas in your car.. cuz itubricates your fuel pump and if it runs dry too much.. goodbye fuel pump and more $$.
Driving your car on empty will destroy your fuel pump which is located in the gas tank. I’m wondering how much that would cost to fix? And as a female you don’t wanna be driving around and get stranded somewhere just because you ran out of gas.
If you want to use less gas, dont gas under the half tank. Cause the more you have air in your tank, the more your gas consomation is high. And I m surprised that with this type of car, you use the regular one. I think it's better to use the best quality of gas.
Waiting till the last minute to put gas in a Porsche 911 (or any car for that matter) is a bad habit. It can make your fuel pump routinely start to suck in air (instead of fuel) which causes the pump to heat up and possibly go bad over time...rust and dirt can also get trapped in the fuel filter which is another repair. Good luck with it.
Just a hint . Ii's not going to change anything. For regular day use fill your car at a half of tank. I drive a Camaro and I using Premium Fuel. Try it?
hey beautiful why are you putting regular gas in a porsche ? You can put any gas in it but you lose performance...you are really supposed to use premium because it has a higher compression ratio.......using regular gas can lead to engine knocking, reduce your fuel economy or cause serious engine problems.......just giving you a heads up!!!!
Melli I thought 4.59 was high here in Sacramento! I try to fool myself by not letting my tank get below Half so the 35.00 to 40.00 I pay does not seem too bad, but I work from home and don’t have to get gas that often. But this is SOME BULLSHI$$$!
Hmm, 2 years ago we were energy independent and the largest exporter of petroleum in the world. Gas was at 1.75/gal on average or less in many areas across the US.
Lol, you should come to the UK, I fill up my classic 1997 model year 993 Porsche for GBP£75.00. You should be happy. But a P-car owner never worries about minor things like petrol cost, part of the territory 😜👌🏿
The gas situation is insane all over the world, it's outrageous....now, be careful with the car and don't wait to fill it up last minute not only because of the mileage scare but also there's aways jealous people on some bs and when they see u in a 911 in a random non safe gas station ( sometimes we have no choice ) things can get sketchy, please take care !
Wut up , I'm going to show you how you to get more mile an spend less . 1. you don't never let it go all the way to E , 2 . when you full up you get more miles out of your car, 3 . always use half of tank of gas you spend less money ,4 . when it get half a tank you full it back up you save a lots of money , 5 . Get or be a member of a gas card it adds up for points . Just looking out , you do these thing you will see a different hopefully I hope you don't have a heavy foot if you do you will be spending a lot on gas , You have a nice sports car be safe , peace .
Gas is not that expensive, we are getting hosed. I buy at the cheapest station along my route. 20-30 a gallon difference from the highest to the cheapest.
*Mami, PPL driving SUV and POS cars are paying the same to fill up... Gas is just expensive now. Didn't know thoze ran on 91? Was thinking maybe 100 octane...*
@@12B4Christ lmao you're a whole 🤡 matter fact, you're the whole circus act 🎪. Inflation is happening everywhere in the world you uneducated trumpanzee
Melli I agree with you, that is ridiculous the price of gas, and before when it was at 90 cents , they start increasing the prices because of the wars in the middle east, now it keeps going up and few people complain, they just accept it.Im glad the truckers are protesting in Canada , that is the good change! When people are fed up.
It doesn’t matter what type of car you have. Everyone pay a lot for gas. $90 is nothing if you don’t live from check to check.. lol. It’s always something to complain about if your not use to $4.95 a gallon. I see the prices and just shake it off.
Get you a 2016 Scion TC.........they are built in Japan. Seriously suggesting the Toyota Supra so there you have it. Best advise without charging a fee.
