There are plenty of tomboys are more book smart, artistic, and/or nerdy... And some think sports are not their thing. They may prefer to go on a picnic---since there's food and fun there for them. Or if their s/o offers to take them on one. I have some friends who are tomboys who like heels, dresses, make-up, and such. Yet will kick your butt in if you push them in a puddle. Not b/c you ruined their outfit--because you pushed them. And if it's their friend they will likely still kick your butt for doing so.
