Do you have a video showing the difference between 1/4" High flow, 3/8" high flow (I think only Milton is readily available) and 1/2" quick connect hydraulic fittings (I think they are usually used for Construction equipment). I'm curious because I have 1/2" hose and do not want to run a converter coupler.... But, I only can find 1/4" high flow connectors. Can barely find 3/8" and 1/2" Quick Connect NPTs..

Keep in mind this is with the swivels held at their max angle which is also max interference. With them straight through up and down we're currently seeing between 0-5% loss. With the double swivel, it doesnt matter, always not having as much fun as the others. Here's the only swivel we can recommend so far: amzn.to/2SXfM4q

Thank you @torqueTestChannel! I had two of those swivel elbow adapters between my compressor and hose reel. after watching, I replaced those swivel adapters with brass elbows. Huge improvement in air volume and pressure! If you blow into those adapters versus elbow, you can feel the back pressure difference! Both HF and Kobalt/Lowe's swivels have same flow restriction.

I think you can get the benefits of a swivel without the losses by using a short (12") whip hose on the tool and a regular straight fitting (I use high-flow style "V") on the end of the whip. That is my preferred solution for all my high consumption air tools (hammer & impacts). Everything else (blowoff, die grinder, etc.) gets the usual fitting directly on the tool. I actually started doing this not because of losses in the swivel, but rather because I've seen the usual fittings & couplers eventually shaken to death (cracked) in the workshop. The idea was the hose would dampen most of the vibrations that the fitting would have experienced. The avoidance of losses in the swivel shown in this video is a nice bonus.

It would be interesting to see what the 90 degree swivel would do with the V style instead of the M style. I'm not defending it I'm just curious what the difference would be. I do run these swivels because it allows me to get into such tight places on my shorter impacts but I use the V style. As for my standard size guns I just rum straight off the gun with the V style on one of them, the other one I run a short whip straight into the gun for better air flow. On a side note if you test out the female couplers it would be interesting to see how the Prevost PRVESI071201S do. With the exception of a couple of my impacts (Nitrocat) mine are the older models I pick up on Fleebay, like Mac and IR and just rebuild them. Heck you can get very nice impacts dirt cheap where everyone wants the latest and greatest, they are cheap to rebuild and they do everything I need them to do, I run a 1/2" hose then use a reducer to drop to 3/8" hose the last 5', this way I don't use a connector until right at the tool.
