It's worth every penny, especially if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a good while. eBay sells a lot of minor/major mods that can completely change the look of your car/truck. Congrats!

Beautiful truck. You have some great ideas. I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 5 speed 4x4 it's only a 3.0, but I still love it . I bought it with a lift lot already installed. These trucks are so much fun.
I'm doing the same thing, a part here and part there, I've found decent upgraded interior parts for my truck from junk yards. I'm trying to keep things cheap, but wheel, tires and suspension parts add up lol

Ive got a 2005 ford ranger edge extended cab optioned out, it has the big center console and power mirrors and windows, the only thing it doesnt have is 4x4 and cruise control. But my grandpa owned it since new so its in “1 onwer grandpa driven” condition only issue is the fender sticks out because it was hit in 2006 and wasnt fixed right. But i got it want to make it custom and this video gave me alot of ideas, thanks

John Wilson If you don’t want to spend the money on a lift I put 32s on my 04 ranger a week ago. Looks great, no rub and sits up about 3 inches higher compared to the stock wheels and tires.

Yeah man I was thinking of spending 5-6 k for a down payment on a semi new truck. But seeing how nice yours is and th needless possibilities I might invest that money on something like this.

What’s the mileage? If it’s less than 100,000 it’s worth around $8,500-$10,000. If it has between 100,001 - 150,000 it’s worth $5,500 - $7,000. If it has 150,001 + it’s worth $2,500 - $5,000. I would guess by the look and what you put in it around $7,500. Great job

I have a white 1998 that I’m doing almost likes your except the lift but I’m doin the power windows kit and all led bulbs but I love mine 2.5l with auto and air

Can you tell exactly what model the trun signal is for because I would love to replace mine i hate the fill of having reach down to find it and my knee hits it. Great looking truck by the way worth every penny and more in my opinion.

You ever thought about 5.0 swapping it? You can swap in the 5.0 OHV engine from the 2001 ford explorers for very cheap and very little work. If this is the 3.0 engine it would definitly be worth it.
Also I did not know you could swap turn signals like that. Me knee is always bumping mine because I have the lower version, I may have to change it out, thanks for that.
You have to swap the trans for the 5.0 too. It'd scatter an m5r1. But yeah. The 302 (gt40) from the explorer belonged as an option all along. Im looking to do the 302 in my 98
Question: Regarding swap of the Pathfinder auto dimming and compass rear view mirror; does the compass function operate without any calibration? Can you make a video how you did it? How did you determine what mirror would be the best application and fit? THX
Mark Firth it was easy and 100% self-contained. It requires no calibration once installed. Choosing it was easy. There’s really only one manufacturer for these (Gentex) and here’s a link. Thanks for the info. I have a 2002 Ranger 4.0 flairside 4x4 that I have been making repairs on. 125K and it's a good looking car. I may give it a try. Fuel filter and rear shocks waiting for install this weekend.
