Great effort Tom, the way you've built the whole channel from the ground up is just exceptional. You've had some ups & downs that you've told us about, the amount of effort you put in is mad! The GQ is looking mint. I was a fan of deep blue but you've nailed it. Let the kids grow along the way, do your trips with your Dad & diesel, maybe do some local camping trips ! Great Video. We loved it. Updates on everything going on are always interesting. Like the Isuzu powered GU, it has turned well. I've been watching since the ex army trailer camper conversion. Q&A's are also good .

I have a tiny channel "Track Rats 4x4" thing I struggle with mostly is getting reasonable music thats not copywrited.... been trying free use music from youtube lately but getting some content claims... GQ interior a centre dash redesign would be cool incorporating a decent screen.... :)

Since you haven’t instal the engine yet, think about the BMW M57 engine conversion. In my opinion, M57 engine paired with 8HP70X gearbox is the best combination nowadays. 😁You will love that engine in that GQ 💪

Ive got an old xrox style tube bar sitting in my garage i never got around to repairing and fitting to my gq before it died. Tempted to cut the gq mount off it and use it for my next vehicle. But i gotta get another vehicle first.

Ran the p4x4 16g lasted 80,000km was an OK turbo, the ufi 18g was better of the line and held on longer into the rev range. Cabolture injection pumps are worth a look to.

Surely sas the trito and make it a little sleeper, or bag it add some camber and get it drifting with some power and steering, the patrols can tow the trailers for goodness sake 😄✌🏻

Had 16g and 18g I think you'd like the 18 more it just flows better and doesn't drop off and isn't much lag compared

mate you are doing well with the family and wife. ive got a small business and a now 5 year old and this afternoon was painting the exhaust and got some heat from the wife. don't know how you do it. i truly struggle having a couple hours per week to work on the cars.

Just wondering with the gu patrol after the 4jj1 conversion does your cruise control still work. Also if you could swap out the zd30 again would you still do a 4jj1 swap over a cummins 4.5l
