How Much Weight Can a DJI Avata 2 Lift? Payload Testing 

It lifted that 533 like a champ. The load isn't tight and creating imbalance and struggled with it. That is seriously impressive! Not many of the DJI Drones lift about 1/2 their weight and the Avata 2 is lifting its own weight plus some. Very impressive! Just getting 30% more than the drone weights is nothing to complain about.

One of the problems with the double load is that you altered the center of gravity by a huge amount. I would bet that this is much more of a factor than the actual weight. If the weight were closer to the body OR if you had it on a tether, I'm sure you'd see different results. I have a drop system coming and plan to lift a similar weight this week, but with a tether on the drop controller.

Great test! I fly an Avata 1 with a insta360 RS which is 165 grams - the difference is I put the camera on top. Insta360 has just come out with the new X4 today which is 203 grams - add on about 17 grams for mounting bracket - Would you be willing to try 220 grams on top of the Avata 2.

So you think I can attach my insta360 camera to it ? I really want a drone but I also want one that I can put my 360 cam on 😅
