That was very interesting. So, is it possible a denture could crack or break with an improper angle, like when chewing food and constantly biting down?

This definitely happed to me with the lower prosthesis. I complained about it immediately & they even had the guy from the lab that designed the prosthesis come speak to me & he told me that I sound normal. All the access holes come out through the teeth, but there is still a little bulk on the inside on the lower piece that prevents my tongue from moving in a smooth motion. I assume this is to make the prosthesis thick so the chance of it breaking under stress is minimal. I've listened to recordings of myself & I can faintly hear the speech impediment, but it absolutely affects how I speak. I sometimes stop at a word because it feels like my tongue is stuck under the bulge, but when I get the word out & listen to my voice recording, its not that bad. It just feels weird.

Do you also do all on six for upper and lower?
