Your information was very well delivered and very on point! Many people (including me) can and will benefit from these "small nuggets of gold" information you consistently send out to the universe by way of RU-vid. Please keep it coming, as they definitely add up to a ton of value for the people that can recognize real value!

I think it’s important to note that the hierarchy assumes an active owner in the business vs absentee which is often discussed on this channel. At least that is how it resonates with me.

Today marks 1 year in business for me! Crazy to think that you can reach these stages of growth.

In your franchise, is there a sweet spot for revenue growth? I feel like your model is to try to get to $1-2M per franchise location and not grow too much pass that as that ads a lot of layers of managers and non revenue producing employees.

I think that's what they aim for. You also have to keep in mind the avatar of someone looking to become a franchisee is not generally the same person who wants to build a $10M+ business.

Great video, this is really good information. I do have a question (; several questions in one) for you. You're probably the best one to have the best answer. What makes a lawn care professional, A PROFESSIONAL? Is it how much money they make, is it a full time job, not a weekend warrior, is it the level of skill a person has.

Great advice, I’ve went from trainer level to manager level and hated it. My biggest mistake was I didn’t have the systems in place for growth, felt like I was herding cats LOL

Visionary. Always pushing the ideas and development with my commercial real estate company I own. I have other people to fill in other slots. I have found you want to understand what each position involves so the employees and contractors can be held accountable but you do not want to get in their way of shining at what they do best.

I liked the ending. signing off! I have a little over 40 customers solo. 6k per month right now i think total revenue but need to go up on a hand full of them or maybe across the board and lose a few to make room for more. Love watching your videos everyday mike. I hope you have a week back log so you can take a couple days off to refresh and stay healthy. also what do you think of pool salt as a weed killer. im thinking of switching over to all organic weed control but its hard to find a cost effective alternative. thanks bud

So if you only do 20 million with a 100 franchises then the average franchise only makes 200,000?

It’s a lawn care business with most franchises only being 1-2 years old, pretty good.

I'm pretty sure a good number of those franchises were literally sold and started in the last year. Obviously they need time to ramp up

If you've followed him for long that seems close. They focus on SMALL yards in a tight route. Hell most of them only run push mowers. They would rather have 100 small locations that service a single zip code then 20 large ones that service multiple zip codes each. Thats very profitable, but primarily only at scale.

$200,000 / $80 hour = 2500 hours is 50 hours of work a week. So mostly one man franchise operations to end up with profit at the end of the year.

Not really a $20 mil business, counting franchise sales in a business where you do not provide raw material or finished goods, is not how its done. You're not McDonalds shipping frozen burgers and fries to outlets. You sell franchises, the sales of your franchise and whatever revenue share there is, would be your business sales. You would/should not include the franchise revenue in your totals.

All coming from someone impersonating another RU-vid channel 😀 (The Boring Channel) Augusta does do $20M system wide… sorta the same way that every McDonalds had a sign that said “99 Billion People Served” Remember I have quite a few other businesses outside of the franchise including real estate, education, gym, web design, and marketing.
