How my LEGO hobby became a YouTube business

Many people have asked me how I became a RU-vidr - now here's the full story! I hope this video will help other LEGO and RU-vid entrepreneurs build their creative businesses, either as side hustles or full-time careers.

Dear Brick101 When I was about 5 my older brother showed me your channel way back in the early days and you have inspired me and my brother so much as we were growing up and we definitely wouldn’t be who we are today without you, you were the one that got me and my brother really into LEGO and because of all your original concepts and your series LEGO NNN we have made a lot of our own characters and sets, also using LEGO techniques that aren’t legitimate, I remember how proud I was as a kid to be able to build pinch bots and mini pinch bots while at friends houses without instructions or your guides. And thanks to you I am the LEGO expert at my school at the moment and I am currently helping my teacher make a LEGO Harry Potter sets and it’s been very easy especially with the help from you. Thank from me and my brother for what you have done for us Edit: thank you for hearting this and also, I think it would be very much appreciated by the people in the comment sections here if you could perhaps make one more LEGO NNN episode? Maybe as a closure or to finish of the green vs orange war? Or what happened to the greatest villain of all time!? Anyway love your stuff and sorry if I seem pushy for the request. I understand if you have put an end to that series and have stopped for good.

Thanks for the wonderful comment! It really warmed my hear to hear how BRICK 101 has impacted your life. Comments like this are why I keep on making videos (even if it's been a couple months since my last one). Keep on building! I do plan to do another NNN episode eventually. It might take me another decade to do it, but I'll make it happen eventually 😆

@@BRICK101 you are just the best sometimes I try to build you're Lego creations but I never have enough of the bricks to build the exact thing if I had the right amount of brick I would definitely build some of you're creations and you have inspired me to build more Lego things and when I do build something from you I'm so happy because it looks great and im really happy with it I hope you will be one of the biggest RU-vidrs and I am a little late on watching this video but I hope you read this and I really really hope you get a million subscriber's soon because you are a very inspiring person and you're just awesome ♥️

Thank you for this motivational and inspirational video especially for me as a small lego/brickfilm animation channel. What I like most from lego is even with a limited lego we have we can make an interesting video as long as we have a passion and put some effort + creativity.

Wow this was just wow! U kind of think of it a person that just played with Legos just became a career for a person..just imagine what I kind do..yes I am a Lego fan I've been playing Legos when I was 4 but just how? Please make Minecraft Fox,Illager family, Shulker and more Mario stuff(Kamek,Boom Boom,etc.) with minifigure and existing Lego Mario sizes.There aren't comments in the other videos so i wrote it here.

Just wanna say I love your videos especially your Fanaf and Zelda videos. After I saw your link video my brother and I built something similar to your link we even used putty to stick the hat on. When we build FNAF legos we use your vidoes.❤❤ I also have your stop motion book and I love I even made the phone stand you made❤❤❤

Yeah, definitely enjoyed it! I'm just a bit surprised you haven't made more with The LEGO Animation Book. It's a fantastic resource. Or, maybe it's doing just fine, it just looks like a thin slice of the pie-chart compared to your great success with RU-vid. :D
