Dad: back in my day I didn’t have toys, I would play with dirt, sticks, and rocks Also him: I remember I had this one toy when I was a kid I used to play with it everyday
no one: parents telling kids how they went to school: we had to climb mount Everest, swim across the Pacific ocean, and walk across the Arizona me: that s just don't add up-
my parents: we had to walk back and forth across mount everest, fly to antartica with a jet pack, walk to south korea, swim across the pacific ocean, walk on lava for 27 minutes, go to australia, just to get to school meanwhile me: **literally walks out of my house and takes 30 seconds to get to school**
The way parents described their “party years” is just as funny. “You should get out of the house more. When I was younger! I went out all the time to party or go shopping.” “Well mom and dad you don’t allow me to go ANYWHERE so what’s the point.”
Fr My parents be like: "Go out more, hangout with your friends and call them out to the park or something" Me: "THATS THE THING, YOU DON'T LET ME HANGOUT WITH THEM"
Im scraped of people, they stress me and ugh meeting others irl is just disgusting (if it isn’t one of my closest friends) I can go shopping ONLINE and I get sick if I’m more than five minutes out of my house so- MOM! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?
Parents of today: "You should be thankful that there's a bus picking you up for school, back then we used to walk through Egypt buy lunch, walk in a forest for a 6275348637 hours , pet a tiger walk through hot coals, and jet pack the way to school. We used that method of going to school because back then our schools did not have the money or budget to hire bus drivers for our school. :) "
" we cleaned the whole village and trekked for hours and still came on time" wow thats so realistic :0 *now i feel less bad for complaining about my 5 min walk.*
@@Uselesspeople2012 no, they left one day before school starts, and then on the regular days they would time travel back a day before to start their journey. *
When my mom told me that I imagined So she went form house to forest to mountains and water and *next day* then she got to school so that's why cars are invented
“so, back in my day to get to school i had to swim across the ocean, travel around the desert, climb mount everest, sky dive off a cliff, walk on lava, ride a rocket ship to outer space, and then that is how i walked to school.”
True. My dad tells these fake stories, here's one. He was in Antarctica, the sea was frozen. He went swimming and fishing in that exact sea. Like bro, how!?
True , even better Jupiter is a gas giant meaning it is bigger than earth , and since it's gravity is strong ,the parents would be crushed to death meaning the child would not have been made
My mom telling how she went to school: It took us 5 days first I didn’t have a car or bike so I walked but then it rained so I went to the horse shelter stole a horse went to the beach went on a orca got on an island saw bones so I built a boat made out of sand and then saw a ship sailing so I snuck in that ship ate some food passed out for 10 hours then I went on a building and fly jumped and that how I went to school YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL WHAT YOU HAVE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK 5 yo me feeling bad but not doing homework:
Parents telling their kids how they went to school in a nutshell: “I ran through the beaches of Normandy while fighting Hitler who had nunchucks and was riding a unicycle, I then had to fight 3 tigers who tried to steal my lunch but I was faster than light itself, after I had to grow wings to fly over 23 volcanoes while getting chased by planes, when I got to school I had to walk over lava just to make it to my class”. The kids then: WHOA!!! THATS SO COOL!!!! The kids now: haha corona go brrrrrrr
Our grandparents whenever they heard their kids saying that types of stuff to their(grandparents) grandchildren: *Ehh, everything you just did is sleeping in your bed. Now stop lying to those innocent kids*
I climbed mount everest, and crost the fast forest, i rode the elephant herd in the savanah and I swam the pacific ocean, I crossed the north pole and hunted penguins in the pole for food. i crossed 7 glaciers in the atlantic, crossed a couple volcanoes, jumped to the moon, and finally got to school. :)
At least we'll be able to tell our kids we survived a pandemic, the Karens, and stuff like that. Walking to Jupiter to go to school is nothing compared to that.
My dad always says this when I don't eat what he bought: "I fought a very strong guy and I won and then I tripped and fell down millions of stairs just to get your food" 😃
My mom: *I just walked up the street for 10 minutes to get to school* Your parents: *We shall walk, run, swim and fly all over the world and explore what Dora the Explorer hasn't yet*
Thjs is so relatable lmaoo, my mom said her school was so far, and also that time we went to go to grandma's house and my mom showed the school, it was near i- i almost choked that time.
"I walked across the Amazon forest and sahara desert, climbed the mount everest and a few other mountains, swim across the Pacific Ocean, fight a bear, and walk 200 miles just to get to school" -Karens
There's this Mexican girl that's int he news she's famous and everything and my dad said he went to school with her and he liked her he said when they were like 9 lmao
@@insertchannelnamehere6542 well all I can tell you is that I do know but you still know every one has hardships in life even if you are in this time period I can tell you I know I am lucky and all because I've learned heard and have knowledge of others hard ships tho for me I had to move several times loseing friends changing states not knowing how to do something right getting COVID-19 because I'm a not a protected from it as I'm one year to Yung to get the vaccine and I know that my mother probably gave me covied cause she had it I know and am sorry for those who do suffer worse caus I know others suffer way worse then me but I have still faced life nothing is perfect but that's ok and I know I seem to have it good just know this I have still faced life I'm not unsmart but like other than this stay safe and have a good day or night where ever you are.
@Lessa The Furry no but they have care of magical creatures that the oaf (not) teaches the same thing but your running after thing that can blow you up or kill you
How our parents tell us they went to school: “We crossed through deserts, seas and forests, and climbed mountains and volcanos.” How we’ll tell it in the future: “They survived zombies and nuclear bombs, and crossed past a bridge invested with covid.”
Other parents: we walked through Antarctica, the jungle- blah blah Other kids: That’s not realistic. My parents: we walked to school with our siblings and cousins. It was a few steps Me: Oh that’s nice?
Yea mine also the same like yours but it also kinda mix with others parent too so it goes like " yea i walk / ride bike to school with your aunts but it took so long like about 1 - 2 hours and we have to woke up at like 5:00 am " something like that
My dad would have to walk 4 whole cities which would take 4 hours and he would wake up at 3 am and my mum would have to walk 5 hours with no shoes on and wake up at 1 am
i love the gacha logic in this vid Clothes: Don't get wet Tiger: Doesn't bite Space: No gravity but can breath perfectly well Paren't: DON't get tired or afraid Me and my eyes: I've seen everything I need to see.. Add some more fact down bellow :v
*IN THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS : * Doesn't cause an avalanche or leave footprints. *DESERT : * doesn't run out of water, feel/ look hot, sweat, take off jumpers or hallucinate from lack of food/rest/water. 👍
Even my grandparents told me: "They just rode they're bikes for 5 mintunes to get to school xD" For my dad tho it was a bit farther so maybe 20-30 mins on his bike? lol Edit: Omg i've never gotten so many likes i have more likes then subs! TvT Tysm!
How they get to school: -Petting tigers -Swimming across the Pacific Ocean -Skydiving down the Himalayas -Riding sharks -Crossing active volcanos -Stepping on lava -Scaling Mount Everest without any gear -Walking across the Saharan Desert
This is so accurate “I had to walk across Mount Everest, ride the Titanic, swim in a volcano, and jump off a cliff to get to school” Like bro what- Edit: I didn’t think this would get that much likes-
This is so accurate and funny. But its true that some people do this, their house is so far away from the nearest school that they climb mountians, walk for miles, and even sometimes cross dangerous rivers. Its sad, so just they can go to school.
@Angel Wolf#7716 you dont get what i meant, and this video and what you are talking about is exaggerated. Thats why its funny. I didnt say that they actually did all of that. Some people do some of those examples like climbing mountains, crossing dangerous rivers . You might wanna watch this documentary but knowing kids/teenagers such as myself, wont even last 5-10 mins of this video. Btw, its 48 mins long, cuz duh its a documentary. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-di_PKpeSmtY.html
@Angel Wolf#7716 dude that is exaggerated like it exist, even my granma says when in the car while traveling she says this used to be a forest, like no buildings but its true tho not like u experience it.
Parents: we travelled the Sahara desert, climbed mount everest up and down, we swam in the bermuda triangle, we went across hell, we flew to outer space and climbed a rocket to our school, we also tamed a wild tiger which is now our pet No hate Stay safe ^^
Provided the fact that they explored for long times, and even went out of the atmosphere, it would have approximately took them 12 years and 7 months to actually get to school. :)
Everyone else's parents: *Going through this unrealistic scene to get to school* My dad: *Just rode his bike 10 miles and avoided a couple animals on the way* My mom: *Just...walked 2 miles and crossed one street*
I don't know bout my dad but to my mom's old school is like a little over 5 minuts if you're going fast and i always walk past it when i go to school (it's like the same name of school but other building because mom's school got abandoned)
Everytime my mom told her story of going to school she mentions that she only walks to school, and goes through a tunnel with her siblings that's full of vines and grass, and it was always dark, she told me it was "like going to a secret forest "
Some person telling a little kid how they had to go to school be like: listen kiddo. You dont understand. I had to take a rocket ship through 12,000 countries, 8,000 continents 17,000 different provinces. Had to stay in 13,400 hotels. **big sigh** it was rough i know.
