Respectfully disagree HEAVILY. Shameik Moore nailed it entirely. Nadji Jeter sounds more like miles in my head in this interview than he does in the game. Miles in the game is supposed to be heavy into his culture and background but he doesn’t talk/sound like it. I don’t hate it, I love miles in the game, but he’s not the best version or most definitive. He could be done better, but it’s no fault of the actor. He’s just doing what he’s directed
@@hartfantom yeah for sure but in my opinion his miles morales voice is annoying, but yeah all love to him he’s a great guy and his performance was awesome
You and me both. 2 different voice actors but they capture the character and spirit both perfectly while also bringing in their own thing to their performance
Grew up watching him in Grown Ups to listening to him as Miles in the 2017 animated show and here he is again in one of the greatest PlayStation series. Dude is seriously incredible. And as much as I also enjoy Shameik in the Spider-Verse, Nadji is my favorite voice for Miles, I still hear his voice when reading the Miles comics. Super happy for all his continued success and I hope it continues! Dude deserves it.
@@TRXPZ_KHAYDEN because I’m a 90s baby & 2000’s kid. Cartoon Network & Disney channel was lame by the end of the 2000’s for my generation. Loiter squad & Adventure time was the epilogue In the 2010’s. Rick & Morty is mostly hype.
I love Nadji as Miles, but they're doing you dirty by not letting you use a deeper voice. 14yo Sam in TLOU literally has a deeper voice than 17/18yo Miles in the Insomniac games😭😭
I got to meet Nadji this past summer at a convention and he was so nice and cool. He treated me like a friend and actually talked to me like a person instead of just a fan who wanted a picture/autograph.
casting Nadji was such an excellent choice for the role. he's super endearing and possesses such a shining presence; I look forward to watching him showcase his natural, more matured voice, as Miles transitions into a college student in the next game. bless.
In the same way that Yuri Lowenthal was basically born to be Peter Parker and Tony Todd was basically born to be venom, Nadji was basically born to play Miles Morales.
The message he brought out he can be that person who loves compassion!! Am grateful I met him in August. His character Miles does impact me how I was dealing with the loss of a parent. We can be strong together in this tough world. This actor is a sweetest awesome person.
@@Watermelon_ManTrue, I think Nadji has some potential though. I think if Miles gets aged up a bit him mixing the voice he does in the game and his natural voice could reach a nice middle ground.
@@FreshPrincex4 oh I wasn’t even paying attention to that cause to me he still looks super young and every time there’s a live action version they never think to cast the voice actor/s and I think nadji would be perfect you know :)
The issue with that is he ups his voice to be miles he does look young though so he could slightly pull it off but miles is suppose to be like at least 15 or something when he starts
I appreciate him saying that Miles had a certain Steez about him. I learned so much about Nadji. It's so amazing how much he has flourished in this business. Keep going bro!
and that is how we found our live action Miles Morales 💜 if marvel or Disney messes up what this man's doing, I'll be upset. this guy is a perfect Miles on any screen!
I like game's Miles more than movie's Miles. In movie he seems a bit whiny. But in games he's so matured and more relatable. We also spend more times with game's miles
To be fair , he's playing a teenager. Pretty sure in the next game, with miles being older (18) most likely we'll hear his natural voice rather than making it high pitch
He need to be in the movies too because he Not just a voice actor he been acting his whole life lol he was in growns up. Sheik got the cartoon miles morales if they make a live action one they need to make him miles it’s only fair
