I feel bad for the people that are stuck attached to a narc by reason of the fact that they have kids together. It seems like a life sentence only minimized once the kids become adults. What an awful thing to have as a constant in your life.

That is my life. Thank you for acknowledging this as it seems no one does. There is a lot of advice out there about dealing with a narcissist that I can't do, simply because we share a child. I've grown strong enough to take the personal abuse, but trying to deal with his abuse to her is an ongoing battle. I feel I have to be the strongest person in the universe and it's so exhausting.

@@bonzbeasty Yes, narcs thrive on exhausting you. I've gotten to the point where I only allot a set amount of time compiling this police report against him so that I can take better care of myself, and then come back at it stronger. Not so easy to separate like that when there's a child involved, or you live under the same roof.

Rebecca, even though you are only licensed in FL, there is a manner of practicing in another state via a pro hoc vici motion, in case something comes along outside FL where you feel compelled to get involved. I don't know all the details, but numerous times, I have seen lawyers have these motions granted fairly easily.

I'm dealing with issues about hidden assets. Can you give us a game plan on how to get that exposed without a civil lawsuit? I know the banks where Mom's assets were held and where her various retirement income came from, so the D.A. can subpoena those records, but it's hard to know what the narc has left out. I also know where the narc banks. Reverse lifestyle analysis? Mom had 2 retirement incomes, plus rental property income, but her investments also brought in income that the narc is hiding. I have no idea how to get at that.

No contact, no sitting around in s%$t talking, no looking for others to re-fuel the below surface hatred, look for authetic people, try to find employment that understands i look as bad as i've lived and been treated. Now that suicide idolization is no longer a factor by slowly snapping out of it. I love myself today, they didn't take my voice away and i could tell on them anyway ... music notes everywhere. 🎵

My wife recently obtained her visa, brought her family to the country and now wants a divorce, seeking to take our two children with her. I’m concerned because I believe her actions may be part of a plan to secure her status here and then leave me while taking the kids. She has a history of infidelity, narcissistic behavior and pathological lying, which worries me about her ability to care for our children. I want to understand my legal options for protecting my rights while she’s wanting to coparent, (still living in the house) and ensuring the best interests of our children. I also have some evidence to support my concerns. I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.

One issue that absolutely daggered and skewed, my diabled daughter was given to the ex partner to be given over to facility care ( no offer of help to me to care for her), and 12 people were paid upwards of $ 60,000/year in that facility to keep her. After 23 years of not being allowed to know where she was, i was allowed to go see her. The person that let me in to see her ssid , oh look, there's a mom, a look of a imbasil on her face , i asked for some water to place drops on her lips ( they were dried to cracking and bleeding), the imbasil gave me mouthwash. I hope that $70,000.00 a year she made for a cushy life makes them baffled as to why the system out did their own jobs.

Typo" 13 years and disabled daughter, she also had no side rails on her bed , she had cerebral palsy, fell out of that bed and broke her fever. Now that suggests my daughter completely disabled, couldn't walk talk or see suffered like she was christ himself. Disgusting .

How can I force the narc to pay the late fees that got assessed against my property because he paid the Decedent's 5/6 share of property taxes late? It was so ridiculous. He tried to con me into believing that I owed ALL the taxes when I only owed 1/6 of them. I DIDN'T TAKE THE BAIT! The told him he had to pay the Decedent's 5/6 share but his delay stunt caused the late fees, and now, he's refusing to pay the late fees he caused on my property.

So spot on !! Thank you. The judge in Orange County, New York , that moron Andrew B., showed poor judgment as well. At least I had finally begun DOCUMENTING ex’s behaviors. Dates, times, behavioral specifics, and names of who else knew( neighbor, friend, family member, & most important, law enforcement I had contacted!).

Just make sure you fully understand what it takes to get your documentation admitted into evidence. You have to be able to authenticate it, lay a foundation for it, and speak on how it is relevant to the cause of action at issue.

Hey Ms. Zung, can you do a video about covert narcissists using other people to take you to court? I'm dealing with an ex with a covert narcissistic mother who is using him to take me to court to file for joint custody although he left me while pregnant and will not come see our child despite me trying to get him to do so. She has done this before by using another person she was controlling to take someone to court to get at them while she sat back with her hands clean. She doesn't like things like vaccinations and will try to use my ex (who could care less about our child) to fight and argue with me about things like that. He claims he can't stop our case when I know he's just afraid of her and she's paying for everything. I was only a few days out of the hospital after receiving a c-section when she tricked me into getting on the phone and started insulting me and pushing me for visitation. 1 month and a half post partum I was served papers and she had the lawyer come at me aggressively. She did this knowing I'm out of work and thought I wouldn't be at a disadvantage trying to defend myself but I found a way to get an attorney. Now I have to sit with my ex in mediation in a few days to discuss this when he could care less because he's just his mom's puppet into trying to control me. I've created a timeline, have some proof and I have people that know her willing to testify against her but it's HIS name as the plaintiff which makes this situation that more difficult.

This has been going on behind my back and I Just got hit With 4 show causes and a Motion to have physical custody given to the father and his wife. I'm so scared. They are both drug addicts Habitual and stepmom has Been hitting our son and dad disappeared for the past 8 months but because we have joint custody and I didn't share. Doctor's appointments in school stuff with him that I purposely wasn't including him but I thought he was in jail to be honest with you. And it is too narcissist and I am terrified to go up against these allegations when they are the ones who have been abusing my son. I don't know what to do i'm so scared

They're really the ones that are harming the child I don't know What to do and I don't want to send my son to their house? I'm afraid for him to go there and I dropped the ball because his dad just was not in the picture and he showed up in full force with a. Case ready to throw at me and I had no clue this was going on.

@@krazychic I would file a report with the police and let them know you're desperate. At least you'll have a legal record. Also, contact your local news so they can start an investigation about your rights to protection if the system is not working. I escaped my abusive marriage without having to press charges, however I had a folder on file with the police just in case anything went wrong, or I got hurt. I wish you well.

I remeber myself as teen girl, i promissed myself that i will be the best mum, and best friend. Being raised by NPD u can become one too, or u will be vurnable, and others will abuse u again. This is what happened to me. I ve been too good to be true, and my ex abused me. So, again i let people abused me, bully me, but i ve never abuse one person. After so many years of abuse, i became angry, but only angry for myself, hard to forgive myself, people played me hard.

I had to start recording every interaction with my narc. He would say all the things he wanted to have happen and then ignore my disagreeing with it. He then would proceed as if I agreed, because I didn’t say what he wanted to hear. The recordings are saving my backside in court. I only regret not getting all of the arguments on video.

GOD DAMN . My wife lied so much. She's a narcissist. She got a free lawyer Western Mass legal associates . I had zero. She got OUR son , my house. To show what kind of mother she is. Our son died of an over dose. at the age of 21. When our son was eight years old she shut me out of his life. I'm his FATHER. SHE, a nacissist, did the most terrible thing. Very sad. She, "BETH", Always referred to Danny, our son, as" her " son. Oh yeah, HER SON! What a narcissist. Awful, terrible. We all lose. I think of Danny every single day. It's the worst thing to happen to a parent. Danny is dead. At least , I have a wonderful wife now. "BETH" has zero. This should NOT have happened. FORGIVENESS would've stopped this from happening. Divorce and death. Forgiveness. Divorce and death. Which one would you choose? Forgiveness of course! Please learn from our mistakes.

Mine threatened to make sure I end up in a cardboard box and I told my son and my son said do the the same thing to him and then I mistakingly told him what my son said and he got angry and said my son has failed me my son is a failure because my son is on my side at the end of the day. ... They put lots of lies in the court record. My ex did this non-stop to where he was quadrupling the amount of time I had to put in by proving the lies. It was insane all the crap he made up & put in the court record without a shred of evidence to prove what he would state. And don't think for a second that if you prove their lies that the court will sanction them, or prosecute them for perjury. It won't. You're supposed to just eat all that time & expense you put into proving their lies. If you can, skip court, and just get away from them, or else they will devastate your finances! And the judge doesn't give a damn.
