Through natural selection, living things have evolved over billions of years from simple cells into an awe-inspiring array of organisms. “Life at the Limits” Co-curators John Sparks and Mark Siddall explain how over time natural selection leads to changes within populations, resulting in a wide variety of adaptations, behaviors, and other characteristics.

Natural selection, genetic drift, recombination, and mutation are all forces shaping our evolution. Natural selection tends to be a force for stasis, not change. Random mutation is the source of novel traits.

This is not exactly correct , theres much more to natural selection and easier and more simple ways to explain it.

Evolution is the dumbest theory I've ever heard of

How can a scientific theory be 'dumb'? That doesn't even make sense.

i agree we came from nothing to the most spectacular and most beautiful creature out there and don't forget the consciousness along with it to be able to contemplate the beauty and purpose in nature where every thing serves a purpose consider the cow and all its uses Milk, yogurt, beef, butter, ghee, leather the bee is responsible for pollination of half of the world food sources don't forget the sweet honey which is also medicine i can mention countless examples

@@LegitDreamer96 I agree there is purpose all throughout nature... I also believe nature exhibits the well defined characteristics of design. I also do not believe we came from nothing...I believe we came from the very word and power of the One who designed it all.

@@travisbicklepopsicle3255 what I mean...is that the idea of something like evolution existing apart from intelligence leads back only to random mindlessness... which in my opinion is illogical.

So this is what my tax dollars go to? You didnt explain anything. Thank god for hillsdale At least they have the pair to speak and not beat around the bush with a shakey voice pencil pusher.
