One of the most powerful ways to re-wire your brain, in my own experience is to be engaged in an artistic activity. Art brings unity of self; it reaches where other methods, including science cannot. Because art is so connect with imagination which overcomes knowledge constraints.

Bridge the gap between positive and negative experiences with similar positive experiences in the past for some struggle in the moment. Like breathlessness to awe struck on a mountain top. Give brain rewards for each incremental improvement. Develop proof that you can. Reward any step in the direction you want at first, then over time the steps will be larger.

Seemed like only a baiting intro of what he was going to say and never got to the meat. 1) traumatic experiences map into your memory so be careful not to repeatedly think or talk about them 2) be childlike 3) use nootropics (nicotine is good but dont use it) 4) break out of time and space by meditating with one breath on a specific thought focusing on your hand moving it close and far till single vision happens. 5) engage w the present horizonal landacape

Shortening the topic for the audience is always a challenge when Public Speaking. Usually Dr. Huberman talks for on Podcasts for 2+ hours on the topic. If you are interested to learn more ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A1KSvTboNgA.html I did not write the following details for the video: ~~~THIS IS A MUST SEE INTERVIEW IF YOU WORK IN THE MENTAL HEALTH CARE FIELD~~~Wow! The brain is a silhouette or a replica of our whole body, 3:54, 10:00 sleep, focus, creativity, stress are the core states & current focus of his studies, then empathy is the hardest one to study 10:40, the two forms of depression 13:33, 15:23 tools to remove depression; two ways to shift thought 22:00: respiration & breathing 22:49, 26:10 a super interesting explanation about how we can quickly control anxiety through Dr. Andrew Huberman 2-1 pattern respiration: 2 inhales with nose, one exhale thru mouth 27:49. His respiration work focus is on the phrenic nerve 28:50; the second spike of cortisol in the day which is problematic and is what the psychiatrists call the “9pm cortisol spike” correlates has with mental health problems 30:10, Win Hof breathing 34:00 is about increasing cortisol and adrenaline to liberate killer cells (t-cells) and fight infection, 48:50: cocaine and metamphetamine. WOOT WOOT 🎺He makes his bed 56:23! about lifetime learning as part of keeping a healthier fuller of life brain with the “kid at heart attitude” and learning about dopamine release thru play quoting physicist Richard Feynman 01:12:13; serotonin: 1:15:53 renewal and balance of serotonin and dopamine for immune system recovery: 1:17:42 his yoga nidra practice to recover serotonin levels when there’s a lack of sleep: 1:19:26; teach body to go into deep relaxation to work with intentions, use body to teach the mind use mind as an accelerator thru yoga nidra; gratitude as a serotonin level promoter: 1:26:06; “smart drugs” 1:36:10; the will to live(tied to the dopamine and the reproductive system)1:41:55, pot smokers as the less ambitious people: 1:42:10. NOTE FOR BENEFICIAL BREATHING/RESPIRATION EXERCISES: Dr. Huberman also mentioned Patrick McKewn’s valuable work & research on Buteyko breathing, which is different from the 2-1 Huberman breathing pattern in that Buteyko breathing actually recirculates nitrous oxide gas (one of the gases used to sterilize surgery equipment) back into the bloodstream, hence, attacking disease right there on the spot and strengthening the immune system. We are all here to live out the word of God, which is the best collection of philosophy, paradox, and oxymorons you could even come up with - for the better of your life, to sprout good in the people you meet, for the better of society in general. @@hawkarae Well clearly the knowledge is shared by Yogis, that's how Wim Hoff got it as well, Wim did however popularize it in the West. Yoga has been out there for 1000s of years. Its nothing new.

I enjoyed this talk and I was so glad to be able to see and feel your empathy for other humans. I hope you reach further than the ends of the universe in your research. Is there any chance i can have a link to the space time bridging image near the end? I would like to create a laminated color image to post in my room.

I would really like Dr. Huberman's opinion on this: I used to rent from a retired medical examiner at LA County; Dr. Leigh Lipton told me he thought ? most Americans were stupid about their health". (That's a quote) He said that people think by spending money for expensive remedies made them "feel good"...then he showed me the tap water he had set on his counter for at least three days; He said, "See this? People want to buy water in plastic bottles, because they're told by great marketing experts )and hopeful but often stupid CEO's that it' makes the consumer feel they're acting healthily. He said that any chemicals in tap water dissipate over night, and that the water he drank in the morning s always tasted clean and fresh-He tested me blindfolded , and I tasted the plastic in the water samples from those bottles, several times-When I told my dr.'s office this, THEY also tested me---I detected the water with plastic in them , again, several times, successfully, comparing t them to the drinking fountain water! He also said that our brainS, tell our bodies what's healthy most of the time, but we aren't listening to them; and that the body wants to naturally heal itself, and defend itself against harm-But that it (grammatically that would be OUR) O=our bodies are getting so clogged with sugars and manufactured preservatives and "modern" inventions that we CONFUSE our own bodies from "staying" healthy. Dr. Leigh Lipton wrote the book called the "Sugar Blues" btw. What do you think of this MEDICAL EXAMINER'S OPINIONS ? BTW last time I visited d a Burger King and drank their water I asked the girl if they weren't ordering their large quantities of drinking water-because I could taste the plastic-Her answer, of course was yes. NOW PEOPLE WHO NORMLLY drink these "bottled in plastic " contaminated waters were never able to taste plastic; therefore, aren't we being "conditioned " to these bottled in plastic waterS, and becoming more and more unaware of the differences? I , myself , call that "becoming conditioned to bad foods!" Slowly...it sees to be happening.

A truly wonderful sentence with which I fully resonate describes my growth and the concept of what I live with now. At the very beginning. I quote, "... Is about fackt not opinions, its about truths, not trends..." Indeed, isn't that the essence of life, and even an interesting area of research, a creative aspect for working and contributing to the world!? I delighted the Cubs with the complete attitude and words of this wonderful scientist... 🙏✨💫

Very interesting to listen to him talk and the overusage of the word him when relating his own original thoughts. But when he’s regurgitating things that he’s learned from somebody else he doesn’t do that.
