The problem with Neuvillette is that any indirect way of nerfing him would drag many other characters and teams onto the drain: You either make hydro dmg useless on the middle of each abyss 12 side, make an anti projectile mechanic on the enemies or an ultra specific case that can target him, like an enemy that takes away the droplets or an enemy that lowers the damage of multihit hitboxes
Thing is, his Charge attack doesn't count as a projectile. The way it's programmed, it doesn't travel forward but just exists like a zone in the entire area in front of you. For example the wood shield Mitachurl can block every projectile with his shield but Neuvi's Charge attack goes right through it.
To compliment everything that has been said in this video: I don't look at how strong a character is before pulling. So I didn't know how strong Neuvilette was when I pulled. After building him I went from not clearing floor 12 to easy 36 star clears.
One "nerf" I could see coming is adding enemies that inflict healing reduction% on you. Not bond of life but straight healing reduction%. Honestly, I had expected that as a nerf to both Furina and Neuvillette for a long time now and I thought they were going to do that to promote shields and bond of life mechanics.
You could add Arl to that since she can rival Neuv's damage. Furina/Xilo/Kazuha ( is just a power house combination for non-dendro/geo comps. Just replace Kazuha in Geo teams.

I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Monsieur Neuvillette. I try to play Diluc. My Monsieur Neuvillette deals more damage. I try to play Wanderer. My Monsieur Neuvillette deals more damage. I try to play Cyno. My Monsieur Neuvillette deals more damage. I want to play Furina. Her best team has Monsieur Neuvillette. He grabs me by the throat 😩. I killed countless innocent seals for him. I farm marachussy hunter set for him. I give him my Baizhu's R5 prototype amber. He isn't satisfied. I give him my Yae's Kagura's Verity. "I don't need this passive" He tells me. "Just give me interrupt resistance" He grabs Zhongli and forces him to erect his pillar and shield him. "You just need to pull my C1. I can deal more damage and not need Zhongli anymore" I can't pull for his C1, I don't have enough primogems. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." A bunch of Gardes and Gardemeks appeared. He says "Gardes, escort them to the Fortress of Meropide." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, unaldurated damage from his insane multipliers and aoes. What a cruel world.

Literally EVERYTHING buff both of them, and there is absolutely no way for the devs to get rid of either of them without crippleing 4/5 of the entire chartacter roaster along the process... unless.... oh, god, we gonna end up getting damage reflecting enemies, so high dmg characters end up killing themselves even with the best healers, didnt we? ... ... ... i see a dark future ahead of us...
Hoyo did TRY to nerf him, they called it a 'bug fix' but we all know it was a nerf, by adding a limit to how fast he could turn while using his charged attack. It wouldn't matter if your mouse was set to a million DPI, you could no longer pressure wash the spiral abyss floor with the Fidget Spinner strat. Problem was the fandom, particularly the Chinese playerbase, was OUTRAGED by that so they reverted it. He can't be nerfed because too many people would be pissed at this point.
I'd say it is definitely a fix, as I don't think he was ever meant to spin that fast. Hoyoverse just doesn't care as much about mouse and keyboard controls, or PC in general. It's why Dehya has her "get frozen, lose burst" issues on PC (although you can hold alt, then click to avoid that issue, but that's just clunky), but not on phone/controller. It's why their rhythm games have the notes spread way wide, because they are meant for a small screen. They are/were sloppy, so they let it go live without testing, and they didn't pay attention the moment it first started being done on release.

I remember getting a 10-pull from Hoyo and wondering WTF it was for (I don't have Neuvillette). Hoyo never does that, so I got suspicious, and found out about this nerf + reversion. Made me want Neuvillette even more. :)

Even if it was just a bug fix the timing was horrendous, fixing a bug that had been present for quite a few patches only for it to supposedly be fixed the patch just before another Hydro DPS released. They couldn’t have timed it worse.

@@megh405 Speedrunning isnt the meta, and I say this as someone who spents 500+ resets on a chamber trying to kill the abyss yumakasaur in 16 seconds instead of 17 seconds. The average player will have a far easier time clearing most chambers with their c0/1 neuvilette than Ganyu Lyney even Arlechinno because of how easy it is for him to hit multiple targets and self sustain. While you can group characters manually to offset Neuvi's advantage the avg player is honestly pretty bad at this game...
the way they are probably going to do it is to heavily focus on attack scalers and non hydro reactions to boost their power up to and above neuvilettes level
im glad that Neuvi is so absurdly powerful because as it stands in the lore, he SHOULD be the most powerful character we've met in-game. he's THE Hydro Sovereign, with his full divine power willingly restored to him by Focalors. having him be anything less than top tier would be a disservice to the incredible writing they gave him as a character imo

I like his design, I like his personality, and he is presumably going to be Harbinger strong and perhaps save Cryo. Maybe even stronger than Arlecchino, considering that he is the First and the powercreep lately. I have only one character fully built as a DPS, and it’s Neuvillette (Hyperbloom Nahida does not count). Capitano is the first new DPS to speak to me since Neuvillette, and as I say, I have hopes for him. If only his gameplay is appealing to boot.

I still remember when solo Neuvillette was one of the most common teams to run during his release patch's abyss because he was so absurdly powerful and the abyss buff gave him an extra crit circlet by default. That was not a "bug". They just realised they wanted more money and he's just too good for new hydro units to compete. Archons should be strong units. Neuvillette is a sovereign dragon ( Archon level) and is a dps unlike the Archons. It makes sense for him to be an OP dps. They tried to backtrack
@@malacoda9421 Sovereign dragons are waaayy higher than Archon level. The Archon's power comes from a 'part' of their Elemental dragon's power. They have complete control over their element, Archon's only have partial control. Archon's usually also have power other than the power given to them by being an Archon but it's not even close the Elemental dragons. (Traveller and Nahida basically beg in front of a weakened Apep, and almost get destroyed just by the immune system of Apep's body)

Ei ( who wasn't an Archon) Sliced through Islands with one strike. Archons were Apex gods of their respective elements. A sovereign dragon at 100 health would scale higher than An Archon with 100 health. That doesn't mean Archons are by any way weak. They are close to Sovereign Dragons. Sovereign Dragons were forced to use Forbidden knowledge against Archons but still lost in the end.

The only "Archon" who fought a Sovereign Dragon is Xbalanque, but that was after the Pyro Sovereign Dragon(and even then, it is just a theory that it was the Pyro Sovereign Dragon) was already weakened. Additionally he wasn't an Archon at that point either.
He was the first character that as an F2P, I could use by himself and clear a floor in around ~65 to 75 seconds. That is the only character till 5.1 I’d say could ever do that
I skipped neuvillette cuz I wanted wriothesley so badly and ended up getting wriothesley c6 Then got c0 neuvillette and his weapon in his rerun (in a f2p way) and just soloed the abyss with just this two, one was c6 the other c0 and neuvillette was almost able to be on the same level as the c6 It wasn't even funny-
The trend with Fontaine characters that I noticed personally is that many of them are incredibly self sufficient, often being able to do damage, healing, and buffs all by themselves.
Gotta love how Neuvillette is one of the most pacifist characters in terms of writing yet he could proba ly solo a majority of the verse by shooting a big ol' civil right beams
At this point trying to outscale neuvilette would probably be a mistake. In general the hydro element feels a little full unless you want to just powercreep the characters.
The best thing is hearing that Ororon is going to be just as good as Xilonen for Neuvillette taser teams. God do I hope he's with Neuv and Zhongli's banners for 5.2 I want all 3 and have none and I don't want Chasca or Lyney.
The formula is the same between HP and ATK scalers. The reason why HP scalers are so broken is because there are basically no HP% buffers, so they need to be good at a baseline.
The HP scalers also are much more survivable. A 20k hp character, especially with the likes of Furina draining their hp, has to be somewhat careful. A 40k hp one? That's a much larger margin of safety.
I genuinely dont know how youd nerf Neuvilette without straight up killing every other hydro unit. Neuvilette's gameplay is simple and thats to his benefit, if you go with the most boring idea and start spamming hydro immune enemies: you are taking Yelan and Xingqiu down first, more enemey hp: if Neuvilette cant kill an enemy, who the hell can? Even Arlechino and Mualani would suffer from something like that and they have higher ceilings than Neuvilette Its kind of a catch 22, unless they get uber specific with it, nerfing Neuvilette is gonna be a blow to everyone else first.
Speed. You powercreep neuvellete with cleartimes. That is what mualani is essentially doing. She doesn't deal more rotational dmg than him , and is harder to play with significant caveats, but what she has in return is ability to clear time limited content faster than neuvellete by a pretty significant margin.

You know what’s the biggest downside of nukes? One crit miss and you’ll lose a huge chunk of dmg. I also have mualani but I don’t like to play her because she’s a bit clunky for me(talking about myself here) and even with 80cr she’s missing many crit(4/10 maybe) which is not good.
@@mayukhmondal5552 That's respectable, I tend to use both, but if we used certain niches as a measurement of strength, a lot of tier lists would be skewed. While mualani has the potential to have the highest damage in the game or at least the highest nuke, this requires a lot of resetting especially in the abyss. Her speedrunning teams include r5 widsith, instructor sucrose, petra xiangling, xilonen amd ideally with fitting abyss cards. So you have a 2/3 chance of getting a useful buff for mualani through widsith, no one uses petra on xiangling and instructor isn't preferred on sucrose either. Basically what I'm saying is that speedrunning as a niche is very inconsistent due to units being built in ways they wouldn't be otherwise just to minimize clear times, a bunch of bugs like certain characters being able to skip PMA and maguu kenki animations also skewing data, abyss buffs and cards benefiting certain characters over others etc. Additionally most players don't care about speedrunning. I wholeheartedly agree that mualani is the best speedrunner in the game, but when it comes to ranking units, you can't look at a certain niche, but instead at the entire thing.
@@devaughnpage he nearly peaks his damage at C3. C6 is mainly the coordinated attacks and infinite water cannon. Unless you really really want to C6, it's better to stop invest at C3 and invest in cons for his optimal supports, such as C2 Furina and C2 Xilonen etc
HP, ATK, DEF and EM scaling work the same way, thing is there are ways which can buff Atk(Bennett, Nobless, Tenacity, most weapon passives and many food buffs), def scalers have Gorou and EM scalers have Nahida, Instructor set, Dendro resonance etc. but HP has nothing, so they give baseline higher multipliers to HP scalers to comepensate to keep it balanced and easier for casual players who might not use optimal teams. Thing is you can buff HP scalers through others ways like dmg bonus. crit, and res shred, all of which Neuvi can abuse with Furina, Kazuha, Xilonen. Btw Def didn't get the same treatment because it scales better as a defensive stat if shields are included(which is why Itto has a passive which actively reduces his resistances to not make him not be able to build offense and defense at the same time).
Yelan's C4 can buff HP% though lol. (Or is it her C2 idk, one of her cons) Furina's C2 buffs her own HP too. So does Candace's C2. Furina's weapon also gives extra HP It's not that HP can't be buffed, it's just that there are no kits who can do that at C0 rn. And reducing res on Itto during his burst is honestly so dumb, I don't understand why Noelle who does like 90% as much damage as Itto C0 at C6 with his weapon as is a 4* can HEAL, SHIELD, and deal that much damage without any debuffs but Itto can't. That's just unfair
Yeah I was gonna reply this as well. He's easy to build because they compensated for the lack of HP% buffs with a higher base multiplier, not because he scales with less stats. Adding more stats a character scales off of makes them even stronger in the long run, because multiple smaller multipliers combining add up much more than if you had fewer, but higher multipliers. We're already seeing that with Mualani, who scales really well with elemental mastery too. Neuvillette's reaction cooldown limits him to only being able to vape 1/3 of his hits, which hard limits his effectiveness with reactions, but Mualani can vape every hit so she feels the full effects of having access to an additional multiplier. Since her release she's been blowing away the speed run charts on both high investment and low investment scales. For example earlier I saw a 30 second cumulative clear of all 3 chambers in top half this abyss with a team with only 2 C0 5*s & 1 signature weapon. The 4*s weren't even C6 either.
The thing about Neuvi is that he has good aoe damage compared to other dps, in single target there are more dps that can out damage him, but ni aoe like with trash mobs or 2 bosses he will dominant by a high margin. He also has no down time compered to others as well as self sufficient and no draw backs. Overall he is over tuned than most dps.
Yeah, and he does with the low investment. There are other characters that can utterly demolish things as well. Like a Chiori with cons, also backed by Xil, is an absolute monstrosity as well. She'll delete enemies with 100k+ hits, left and right, auto-targeting things. Xil made her the best off-field damage dealer in the game... provided you are willing to give up 4-5 potential new characters just to get her and Xil to c4/c2 respectively. Bosses just melt, while trash mobs are just auto-deleted. But that takes multiple constellations to do, so a much higher investment.
when he was announced - "wow, both the eng va of sukuna from jjk and jp va. i must pull" when i first got him - "hydro? wow so broken ill play him with dendro" when i first played him - "why tf does stuff dies before the bloom pops?" now - "shhh, be with your family and finish the abyss fast enough that it won't matter whos on the next team" :)
neuvi is my safety net when it comes to abyss easy to build eas to play not gated by crit rate weapons easy consistent damage output while not needing any form of super optimal rotation to do it
i wont deny the fact that i really really loved those rant videos with tons of cussing and some background gameplay, but its so awesome seeing you build your career and seeing the quality of your vids going up over time. nice work🙏
9:05 don't use Xilonen skill+2 hits first, because if you're not reacting with hydro to crystalise, you aren't proccing her 4pc effect and you miss out on not just a lot of damage, but also a draconic stack on Neuvi :)

I would say that they could get rid of his camera exploit to make him more balanced, but they tried that by limiting how fast he could rotate and people tried to sue them for it. At least then he wouldn't be overshadowing the characters with AoE hydro setups.
Neuvillette literal Powerful unit, even Japanese forum already said that thing. I never plan to get him before but i change my mind, after I saw how crack his mechanics and kit (He can deal DMG while healing himself, + his DMG increase based in Hydro reaction (Hyper bloom is one of hydro reaction, with multiple layer). I'm not regret getting C1 Neuvillette)
Me neither C1 makes him not need zhongli (who is a dps loss) and makes furina a better support for him because he gets a built in charged attack dmg stack while activating hydro resonance
I'm the opposite tbh. I like more balanced characters powerwise. Nuevillette is way too powerful and too easy to use. Beating the game using him feels cheap. I'll be skipping him and act like he doesn't exists until they somehow nerf him in the future.
Xilonen is absurd. She buffed my Mono Pyro C2 Arlecchino so hard, I was doing 200k damage per SLASH with her. No reactions, no vaporize, NOTHING. Each click did 200k And that's with her skill at Talent level 6. It's only going to get higher.
I got C2 R1 Arlecchino and C2 R1 Xilonen, but she does lile 100k on the first hits and then falls off very quickly. She's sadly a down grade from C6 Chevreuse.
Then they should kill Mavuika and have her be resurrected as one of If she dies, Divine Throne is gone and she gets her full Sovereign powers right away
I ask myself if Neuvillette was unintended to be that strong since he was released BEFORE Wriothesley, which is a pretty inconvenient character without C1
My favorite character is wriothesley so I skipped neuvillette to get wriothesley c6, later got c0 neuvillette And even I With c6 wriothesley who's top 2% need to admit that c0 neuvillette (now with xilonen and kazuha) does almost the same dmg as my c6 wriothesley

Imo the easiest nerf to Neuvillette, is to buff everyone else, how? More niche characters like Chev or Faruzan, Ororon or Emilie and stuff like that, that buff very specific archetype (not nevuillette since he already has his god team) making them closer to neuvillette team's dps, not to that 100k dmg per second per rotation which is insane, but closer to 70k per team, then you increase the overall health of the enemies and you end up in a situation where people can play any team without feeling the need to use neuvi, but at the same its hard enough to have to build your characters and teams with actual synergies
As a mostly casual player of genshin, neuvilette is a so digustingly overtuned to where i can comfortably do literally anything the game throws at me (barring abyss bc who has time for that lmao) on even my sister's ar 45 WL4 unoptimized and at C0.

Honestly Mualani already is that in everything except for ease of use. She's been blowing away the competition in abyss with the purely data driven speed run boards, with both high investment and low investment. Other characters can't even compete. If Mavuika has better and quicker initial pyro application than the pyro units we have now, and has team buffs baked into her kit, Mualani is going to be insane. Right now people are using Xiangling and Dehya in more conventional comps, and going as far as Klee C2 (DEF shred), Xinyan and Arle (AOE application), and Yanfei (fast ranged application) as pyro enablers in some of the crazier runs. Yes, that's Arle being used as a pyro enabler for someone else to do the damage in speed runs.
An easy way to make him worse is just to have the abyss include enemies with inate hydro auras, like the majority of recent abysses have had on at least one side.
Technically devs try to balance him in abyss. Because after his reran they put a hidro immune mobs or bosses in one of half or put same enemy with shields. Well it didn't work so good because you still can play him in another half.
Ngl. Even on hydro immune abyss it didn't felt like they were safe at all. Since neuvillette can slot in whoever. If it's hydro immune maybe use fischl or navia or the new ororon or any sub dps.
I'm not well versed in Genshin combat, I have a weak team with Anemo Traveler, Shinobu, Xiangling, and Neuvilette that probably only works because he's carrying the team and dealing the most damage when the other characters are dead
Pulled him cuz I liked his design, risking my Furina guarantee (but won 5050 to her tho), never thought this man singlehandedly changed the way I saw abyss and any type hard content in the game, now I can use teams without him and 36 star but he was the starting spark, so that I gave him C1 and R1 (he is the first limited 5 star con I pulled) and a fully well built team which became my warmup chill team giving me more time to do experiments and new teams on the other side lol... Aside from that unlike other characters badly needing Bennet to make a difference, this man doesn't mind when I need Furina for the other side so I literally have more support options for my 2nd team to shine, all he basically need is three (now two after) different applicators and a Layla or Zhongli lol...
Honestly, I feel like they should leave him as the undisputed best and continue new characters without him in question. We are a decent bit into the new character cycle of natlan and seems like that is what they are doing and only making little higher dps in specific scenarios like muilani or arlecchino can do better clears in certain contexts but no one really is outclassing him overall. It is a very similar situation to Bennett as a support is too good so they just leave it as fact that all attack characters have him in mind and no support should straight up outclass him outside of niche scenarios.
I think he will stay at the top throughout natlan but I believe in sneznahya a dps on par/stronger will come(please be the captain) because I won't be happy pulling for a dps just to be worst than a 2 year old dps neuvillette

I don't want him to get nerfed, since he is a hydro dragon he is quite lore accurate which is cool and a less harmful way to nerf him is just to put enemies with high hydro res or immune to hydro and just switch btw types of abysses, one which is better for him and one which isn't, that way no need to purely powercreep his scaling numbers

If they nerf him it shows that they don’t give a shit about their male characters. He is one of the beacons for male representation in this game so hopefully they don’t ruin his kit. Thank god for the CN protest that made Hoyo’s dumb decision to nerf fail
Can't even convince me to pull for him on his 2nd rerun. I know there are also other boring gameplays in Genshin, but Neuvillette power washer is just something I can never like, even if it's strong.
Nah dude imagine doing this thing in coop where you buff your friend and then leave allowing you to "use" 6 characters and going with furina, ororon, xilonen, kazuha and Bennett all in the same team just to super buff some c6 r5 neuvillette so he can do... I don't even know how much per tic at this point
That’s nice. I’m happy for Neuvillette mains. As Lisa main, it’s always nice to see players find character they enjoy. I know the game is broken now and started got left in the dust long ago but I still get excited when my Lisa drops a 70k+ ^-^
If they released an absurdly high +ATK buffer, like two Bennets welded together with team healing, that might break him. He doesn't need the healing and doesn't scale off +ATK.
Neuvillette is my favorite and my strongest character, I love him a lot, but I am not so sure he is the most overpowered, cause we still have Arleccino.
I love Neuv and Arlechinno because their kits are pretty strong, self-sufficient, and, technically not burst-reliant so you can also use them in over-world. Here’s a video idea. Do a history of Genshin quality of life improvements and rate each of them on quality and impact…or backhanded, manipulative scamminess…whichever, lol
the reason why neuvillette is so strong is because he was (when he came out) balanced around the fact that there are not a lot of ways to buff hp scaling characters. Now we have furina and xilonen who are able to buff him and thanks to that neuvillette got a much bigger buff than other characters. You could nerve him If you release new powerfull suports who buff attack or em scaling characters. You could make suports who can enhance reaction dmg (for ex. vaporize no has a 2x multiplier rather than 1.5x) neuvillette can take advantage of those buffs but his reactions aren't doing that much dmg and it would be a dps loss if you play them over his current best supports (kazuha, furina, xilonen).
the only way to "nerf" neuvilette is to lift up the other units. Change some of the weaker reactions, bring in more dedicated supports like Shenhe and Chevrolette but make em actually compete or even eclipse generalists like Bennett and Furina. Release modern onfield or offield DPS for said elements. The genie is out of the bottle, you can't nerf him so now you have to build around this new standard. Mualani and Arlechino have managed that pretty well.
The thing with Neuvillette is that he has a very intuitive kit. Yes, he's strong, but there are other characters that put up bigger numbers and/or can compete with his. I guarantee that even if he dealt less damage, people would still play him and get faster clears with him, because of how intuitive his kit is.
I somehow managed to get him after getting lyney when fontaine first came out, and then I got his signature weapon, and then furina I prefer arlecchino when it comes to speed and smacking enemies, but boy I love this guy
One thing I love about Neuvillette is that his playstyle makes you feel like an actual deity of the Hydro element Most of the characters including the Archons employ the same hacking and slashing mechanic that 90 of the cast uses so it doesn’t really feel like you are playing like gods at all. With xilonen addition on my neuvillete team replaced zhongli, the damage increased from 75k to 105k+ is overwhelming. One side of the abyss can easily be demolished.
I'm F2P and somehow managed to get Furina, Kazuha AND Xilonen, and Neuvilette is soon coming in 5.2 acording to the rumors. Oooh boy I gotta get farming for that garanteed ASAP

I think MHY is already releasing enemies that harm Neuvillette, those shapeshifting Abyss Flowers released in 5.1 is really annoying to deal with standard Neuv team due to the elemental applications needed to break their shield, and Neuv team, or rather, Fontaine characters in general, don’t actually apply a lot of element. Meanwhile, old school teams like Hyperbloom, National, International etc, actually applies a lot of element, it is how their team comp works in the first place. I think they will make a comeback if the Spiral Abyss becomes more populated with those Flower enemies.
Neuvillette is the most powerful hypercarry because the lore demands it because he is the dragon from the most powerful element, like furina, who is not even the archon but functions as the archon, and both are some if not the best written characters in the game, furina had to be the best buffer, the metric for supports is directly proportional to how good they are for neuvillette, and I wouldn't have it any other way, when mavuika releases, I expect her to be incredibly busted with neuvillette, and if not, at least better than any other character but furina and neuvillette. If we are being real here for a second, there's not a real way to nerf neuvillette, other than especifically designing an enemy that says on its description, this enemy has infinite health and does infinite damage and erases your artifacts and takes the constellations away from your characters and your primogems, if neuvillette is on either side of the abyss, in any floor, in the world map, in the imaginarium theater, if you have him favorite, or if you have him as an avatar for your account, and if you play kazuha, xilonen, furina, neuvillette your account gets permantly ban and you are now forced to play concord for the rest of your life.
Nah man you are really out of touch, Neuvilette is a very underwhelming character, Xilonen made him a lil bit better but he's still very very weak, i do NOT recommend pulling him👎👎👎 (Jokes aside, just stop buffing bro, he doesnt need that😭)
Neuvillette is one lf the few characters that i say are part of that "cut above the rest" that very few characters genuinely reach Even if you compare something like Klee vs Hu Tao, vs Arlecchino where the biggest difference is something like 40% between Klee (the first) vs Arlecchino (the lastest) with Hu Tao being in the middle they still use the general same team and even then its not SO different that it makes one that much worse Then there is Neuvillette who by himself is basically better than whole teams while being a fully functioning team, i can think of no other character in this entire game that is so powerful that it just makes other characters bad by comparison because why choose them when HE is better by himself
Wym, Klee can drive forward vape Furina making her better than Hutao and Arle rn lmao I think you're understanding it wrong, the difference between other units besides Neuvi is that they all have flaws in their kit while Neuvillette doesn't (unless you count interrupt res at C0 which is fixed at C1) Klee is squishy and can't sustain herself without serious help + has RNG to deal massive damage Hutao eats her HP away faster than she can restore it with her ult (every 2 rotations if you don't build ER which you shouldn't) + has dps downtime during which you literally can't do anything Arle can't recieve any external healing, making her very fragile and prone to dying without a shield. She also can't sustain her damage output against one enemy bc her BoL goes down faster than she can apply it again Vs Neuvillette, the one man army Can -Heal -Single target damage -AoE damage -Not burst reliant -No dps downtime -Not squishy at all (60% of his HP > 100% of most characters' HP) -high mobility -penetrates carried shields -easy to play (doesn't take brains to use) -easy af to build, doesn't need many stats -Is the best element hydro I could keep going but I think you get the point He has no flaws lol He doesn't need a teammate's help for anything
As someone who have Neuvillette at C6R4, the biggest problem with him is that most of his problems are essentially fixed by his C1, which makes sense-it’s a similar case to C1 Wriothesley or Hu Tao. However, the amount of improvement that C1 brings is just too much. The free stack to play him with Furina is acceptable, but the huge interruption resistance is excessive. If that resistance were placed at something like C4/C6 as a bonus, he would be a more balanced character. That way, you'd still have to remember that enemies can destroy your rotation if you aren’t careful enough or don’t have a shield. He heals more than he loses HP with Arlecchino and Clorinde, and the Bond of Life mechanic makes both of them difficult to play for new players, but at least it's rewarded with good damage. Neuvillette, on the other hand, doesn't have that high-risk, high-reward mechanic, which is the reason why he feels much more broken.
On Release With Team of Neuvillette (C0R1) Fischl Kazuha Zhongli he Does 85k DMG per tic With Furina release the team of Neuvillette (C4R1), Furina C2, Kazuha Zhongli he does 139k DMG per tic And Now With Addition of Xilonen. I haven't checked yet but i think its Closed to 200k ish DMG per tic.
As a neuv owner, i approve of this. He's so strong that when devs tried to nerf him, they were forced to give it back to him plus a ten pull to all players. Even mualani can't do that 😂
Now I don’t know wether to pull for mavuika or neuvillette.Mavuika is awesome for exploring and is gonna be a good support for mualani.But then again,neuvi is meta and is one of my faves….IDKKKK
I think it's staying like this genshin fanbase will pull for new characters even though Neuvilette is stronger. Many people just want to play the characters they like I know how strong he is but I don't want to pull him cuz idk I don't see myself playing him,
they’re just characters, you don’t have to use them, I pulled him, i’m barely getting around to building him, i just put him on field for the first time the other day. It’s hard to want to use him when razor exists. I have meta I just don’t always use it, i tend to play video games for fun, not because i got a number fetish.
